Ken and I got married in September of 2006 and decided to start working towards a family in November of 2007. I am trying to be patient and understand that my opportunity to be a mama will come when the time is right.

I also have comfort in knowing that I can be the support system to two of my best friends who are both pregnant right now. I am so happy for them and I cant wait to be there for them throughout this happy time. Knowing that when my time does come they will be there for me. Nhu and Jojo are the best friends any girl can ask for and I am so very happy for them.

I guess thats all for now and I will continue to update when there is a change and I get the BFP too!

June 21 - Got my positive test! Whoo hoo! Ken and I are very excited and nervous all at the same time.

July 31 - Went to the Dr. and found out that I lost the baby about four weeks ago at 5w4d. Very sad, trying to stay strong but I cant help but cry every 2 minutes.

August 1 - I am scheduled for my D&C for Monday....I am really scared and nervous for the whole thing. Ugh I just can't believe this all is happening. I am very lucky to have support of my friends and family and my friends here on this site. Thank you all so much.

September 3 - AF arrived finally

October 1 - BFP!!! whoo hoo!

October 16 - First appointment and first scan! Got to see the heartbeat! So awesome

November 13 - Heard the heartbeat! What a glorious sound! Things are moving along smoothly!

December 9 - Got to see Baby Vander Kooi again...which was amazing since we hadn't seen peanut since week 6. Nuchal Screening went really well, less than 1 in 10,000 chance for Down Syndrome

January 2 -Finally went to see Dr. for sinus infection and got to hear the heart beat again. Very relieving to hear.

January 5 - AFP test done

January 26 - Finally got to see our little one again for the 20 week ultrasound and got to find out that we are going to be having a girl! I am so excited!

March 19 - 3D Ultrasound!!! How awesome! She was great for the first half but then she decided to put her hand in her face then both hands then her foot!!! It was hilarious to see her with both hands and a foot in front of her face! Still got some great pics!!!

June 17 - Kaitlin Jane born at 2:17 pm 8 lbs. 13 oz. and 21 inches long!
