Scarlett is on her way!!

Hi! My name is Amanda and I am currently pregnant with my second child. Our daughter Lorelai Rae will be two on June 13. My husband Geoff and I have been married for almost 5 years and have known each other since we were 12! Our babies are absolute miracle babies because we were told we would never be able to have children. Geoff was diagnosed with cancer when were 18 but he beat it and is now in his 5th year of remission! He's shown me how to take difficult times and turn them into something that can make you and others around better people.

We're so excited for this baby and to watch our daughter mold herself into the big sister role. We're due on October 31. I'm kinda hoping for a November baby though, so we'll see!!

i cant believe Hailey is already 2 months old (on nov 10th) We went to the drs on the 16 and she weighs 8 lbs 15 oz...still a little peanut but growing good! We have had to switch formulas to Enfamil AR because she was spitting up A LOT and sometimes throwing it all up but this seems to be working but now her poo seems to be harder to get out and maybe her tummy hurts....not sure...but this formula is a lot thicker so i dont know shes only been on it about a week so we will see how it goes. Hope everyones doing great

Hello ladies! Jordan had his 1st doctor's appointment today and he is doing so well! He's growing. He was 6 lbs 7 oz at birth and today is 8 lbs 5 oz, and he grew 3/4". Everything is great with him, I'm such a proud mommy!!
I'm doing very well, too. I've kinda stopped bleeding but not quite. Now I'm just nervous it's all going to hit like last week and I'm going to have all the menstrual symptoms that suck. But I guess I have no choice but to wait and see. I've started to work out again, but very slowly. Only 30 minutes of cardio, max, and very light weights. I can't wait to get back into it full on.
I can honestly say I do not miss being pregnant at all! I know a lot of women miss being pregnant but not me! I can sleep on my stomach, and roll over at night without having to hold my stomach, and I don't pee every hour!! I love it! Plus I love having my little boy in my arms rather than my tumtum. AND no heartburn, yay!! That was a silent killer!
Anyway, I hope all you new mommies and your little ones are doing excellent. And all you mommies who are still pregnant, keep healthy!

Hi ladies I have a question about breast feeding when i feed my baby boy he feeds very well but it seems he always wants to suck on my boob i am wondering is he not getting a lot to eat I am worried that I am starving him and I feel so bad :(

Hey Ladies, I'm at the hospital. The did 2 doses of the gel last night and guess what?!?! It worked- a little. I dilated to 2cm!!! Woopie! Next step is to break my water!

I MISS BEING PREGNANT!!! AND MY LITTLE MAN ISNT EVEN A MONTH OLD YET! HELP! Does this feeling go away? I really want another one but I want to wait a while ( a few years) but I am like craving being pregnant again. I was thinking this would go away after a couple weeks, but the feeling is getting stronger. I am just scared to raise 3 kids... Thats a lot to handle. I need support ladies. I couold just really cry right now. Im so lost...

DJ is 3 weeks old and he will not sleep in his co-sleeper/bassinett. It pulls right up and is flush with the bed, so I can touch him for comfort. But the only way to get him to sleep through the night (w/2-4 feedings a night) is for him to sleep on my chest. I have tried letting him fuss it out a bit, but he ends up fully crying. I have tried putting a heating pad in there (the pediatrician recommended that one) and even put a clicking clock on the side for him to hear it. I DO NOT want to sleep with my baby, but it's the only way I can get a few hours of sleep. Even then thought I am not fully sleeping. Does anyone have any suggestions? THANK-YOU!!

Regarding BF- Tickle her bottom lip until she opens her mouth really wide then insert your nipple. Nursing should not be painful. If it is the baby is incorrectly latched.

Hi ladies, I had my little man Friday at 6:02pm after 8 hours of induction and my epidural fell out at 7 to 8 cm but they replaced it in time will post birth story soon

Quick Update: Yes, I'm still pregnant. Went to doctor's today and he thinks my heart-shaped uterus + long cervix is why I can't progress but, I want to give mother nature a chance- I told him I didn't want to induce again (too painful ). He said that's fine for now as long as my blood pressure remains good and if she has enough fluid. So, we did an u/s and yes, she has plenty of fluid and hasn't really dropped much but, is in the position to come out. The u/s tech said she has lot of hair! And, that she's not too, too big. The doc. said if baby isn't here by Wed. then, we must induce again and if that doesn't work... c-section (which I'm totally OK with) Tonight's inducing try: bouncing on gym ball for hours {and I'm NOT kidding}

Oh that's good news it doesn't take long for the new baby excitment to wear of with kids does it. lol. we're doing great maddison was up a bit last night but really that's the first night she's been up for any length of time so I really can't complain,How are you feeling are you managing to get some rest?
