Tuesday Jan. 23rd. Is this only Tuesday? Gals, I can't begin to tell you how excruciating it has felt to get on that jet plane without my husband... fly to Idaho... get only quick one minute phone chats with him in between Meps and the flight to Texas for Basic Training. I'm so glad to God for those few short calls, even at 3 in the morning, YAY. but God, it's freaking hard! I'm at my folks' house now and there are so many new tastes and sounds. No more of my dh's awesome little breakfasts. I'm left gagging most of the time but soon I'll get settled in here and everything will return to a hopefully relative 'normal'.

Saturday Jan. 19, 2008 12 WEEKS Please. a high five. thanks. today i'm packing like crazy in my house, yeah i feel like crap but this is life! ha. i'm flying out tomorrow on a jet plane.... i'll write more later... but in the mean time, lets get it started in here! it's time to party! wow, the first trimester is almost almost over.

Jan.12,2008 11 weeks
WOW. Later today I must take the eleven week picture. And maybe update some more. This past week so many people were telling me things and I should not have payed attention to any of it. It just made me worried and confused but really I'm as fine as a fiddle and my own body will tell me what I want to know. (besides our baby being a girl or a boy. :p) I'm going to try and see a midwife this coming week to hear that heartbeat before Loren leaves! (it's a diff midwife, hopefully not such a rip off)

Jan.10th I'm having a lot more pain. Growing pains I hope. I was standing by my sink washing dishes this morning and got a sharp pain above my pubic bone so hard i was doubled over. It scared the crap out of me. Is this normal? Anyway, I really think I should see a Dr. We've been waiting till dh gets into Basic training because then I get my military ID and can be seen by a Dr. and everything will be paid for. Right now the moolah just isn't flowin. Hopefully I can get through to the health clinic or a midwife. One midwife wants $100 just for one visit, that doesn't include anything 'extra'. Yesterday I had a lot of lower back pain, the last several days actually... lots of insomnia... and more morning sickness. Some of my friends have told me I'm huge for as far along as I am so who knows, maybe I'm having twins and there are simply extra growing pains. I'm trying not to be stressed about my hubby leaving soon but can I even help that?

Help me.

Jan. 5th, 2008 Ten Weeks
Today doesn't feel different than yesterday but I've been looking forward to it all week! YAY, i'm TEN WEEKS ALONG FOLKS! I didn't sleep good at all last night. Or the night before. And I haven't napped. So I feel really worn out. I've found that when I'm really excited or I'm uptight about something for a while and then I relax, my tummy hurts. hehe.

In two weeks my husband will be shipping out to go to Basic Training and Tech School for four months with the USAF. That's right, I'm the proud wife of an Airman. I'll be flying to Idaho to spend time with my family. Having my mom near will make these next four months hopefully more bearable. I'll miss my man like crazy.

Nine Weeks and Four Days
I didn't know pregnancy would change my life so much. I've been pregnant before. Twice. But both of those times I didn't get to carry my babies. Both times I had morning sickness, sore boobs, no energy... but it was only for a short time before my babies went to be with Jesus. This time, so far, I've had only positive signs... I feel it's a keeper. In the mean time I keep praying and with each passing day my hope and my excitement grow. I'm grateful for each day that I get to carry this precious baby.

I had some brownish discharge for over a week between weeks 7 and 9. It scared me because I didn't know if it was normal and each time I went to the bathroom I was so sure I was going to see blood. I started holding in my pee for as long as possible, I just didn't want to face the reality that I was going to see blood. But it all stopped and I never saw blood and at this time I feel quite pregnant....

Isn't it funny how everybody is always asking you how you feel these days? I've taken to replying that I feel very pregnant. A couple people didn't get it and they said, uh, yes, we know you're pregnant, uh, how do you feel? <.insert rolling eyes.>

The first few days we knew I was pg, dh would call every 15 minutes making sure I was feeling fine. "No I feel like crap. But thats a good thing!" =)

Jeans are no longer comfortable. Wahhhhh. It's almost time to shopping for those strange looking clothes that have extra bands of stretchyness around the waists and are made to fit balls under them. hehe. I love it.

See my growing bump!!!!! My breasts are really growing too! It's so awesome.

We knew I was pregnant for weeks before we finally got a positive pregnancy test. I was in my eighth week and we were spending the week with my family in Idaho. On Christmas Day I got up and took two tests. At first I thought they were both negative but then I saw the faintest second line. We held them up in front of mom's kitchen windows to make sure and there was no doubting it! It was SO exciting.

This past fall we celebrated our 2nd Anniversary! We spent the weekend in Estes Park, Colorado, cuddling in a comfortable room as the snow fell softly outside. Most of the weekend we were in the jacuzzi tub for two. ;)

October 15, 2005 was our wedding day. It was a happy one. We got married in a chapel in Woodleaf, North Carolina. We're more in love today than ever before. Whoever thought it could get this good?
