ummmm, thats not his job but im sure thats everyones job whos overseas right now aside from what they are assigned to do...army wife...stressful and annoying sometimes...i dont work at all so im a full time homemaker but his job sometimes takes time away from us at the last minute and i hate that...so far its not too bad cept when he gets called for 24 hr duty last minute

lol im envious you dont wake up anymore! lol...she actually does really good sleeping at night...last night she slept 4 hours straight till she woke up cuz she was hungry...it depends how late i actually go to sleep so its usually two or three times...about every 3 hours...but i rarely go to bed early so just twice is the usual...she eats and goes right back or falls asleep at the boob, lmao...i do the laying down position with her so i can stay laying down too...johnnys already back at work but definitely helps me at night and on weekends...but tomorrow hes getting surgery on his shoulder and wont even be able to hold her for the next 30 days after tomorrow...so i'll be takin care of him now too!

There you go, your obviously doing great if your family are proud of you so who cares what you do for a job!!! My job isn't that flash....but it's a job!!!
I had my first, Angie, when I was 20 but I looked like I was 15 and I would get stared at while I was pregnant and I use to hate it. Then 15 months after having her I fell pregnant with Dion and I would even get pointed at sometimes. I would have people ask me how old I was then they would see the wedding ring and kind of shrugg it off (like as if being married made me a good parent???). It was amazing how age to older people is such a big thing but like you I worked and I loved being a mother and eventually I stopped caring what other people thought because I knew I was being the best mother I could be. The thing is, babies are exhausting but when your young you have heaps of energy then you get these older mothers in their late 30's and 40's who have a baby, cant cope with the sleep deprivation and stick their child into full time care and spend the day resting and pampering themselves and being useless houswives...WTF??? and "young mothers" get shit??? You dont often hear about a young mother who's gased their children in a car, or burnt them in a bath because they cant deal with their kids crying anymore. It's the older ones who murder them and beat them and have their children taken off them for not coping with the pressure. It's mostly the young ones who are out at the park with their kids and playing with them and spending the time making their little ones look cute and all that fun stuff. The looks and comments can suck but when your child goes to school thats when you really feel the age gap between yourself and the "older" mothers. When Angie started school not one other mother battered an eyelid at me. Angie was invited to one of her friend's birthday parties at this indoor play centre and I dropped her off and the birthday girl's mum took one look at me and turned her back on me. She would talk to the other mothers and completely ignored me!! I was so embarassed just standing there feeling like a dickhead that I left in tears, drove home and sent my hubby back up there to pick Angie up at the nd of the party. Angie has not been invited to this child's birthday since. It wasn't until some of the mothers learnt what had happened to Dion that they started talking to me (obviously out of sympathy) and after a while they realised I wasn't going to eat them or something and things have been ok since. So just remember when your getting those filthy looks (if you get them at all) it's probably because they are regretting having their kids so late and are jealous they dont have the energy that would naturally bounce off you.
