Shans-Water-Babies - Friday, 1 August
It's crazy to think that I'm 14 hours ahead of you LOL.
Tonight I'm at home and dont go back to work for another 4 nights (yae). I work in a call centre aling side the supervisor for an ATM company logging jobs and dealing with our techs who repair and maintain the machines. I do reporting for the banks and deal with the security companies and any security issues (booking guards, if the machine is out of cash, has a fault or if the ATM has been vandelised etc....). We deal with most of Australia and because the other side of Oz is 2 hours behind I need to stay back until midnight as our techs dont finish until 10pm.
My previous job was with an Insurance company. I was an underwritting assistant which was very stressful as I had to assist in putting individual insurance policies together for my clients (all 97 of them, then the new ones I would recieve on a weekly basis). There was no room for error...nothing less than 100% accuracy. I liked the challenge at first but when I lost my son I couldn't stay 100% focused anymore then I fell pregnant with Jayden and I lost interest all together. It doesn't matter weather your "only a receptionist"....it's great that you have a job as your teaching your daughter not to be a bludger and showing her that you work for a living. Good on you for not falling into that catagory of useless young mothers who are too lazy to hold down a job to support their family

I work from 5pm to midnight for 4 nights then I get 4 night off then back to work for another 4 nights and it just keeps rotating. It was tough at first because Jayden was only 3 months old when I went back to work and I was still breastfeeding twice a night so I was averaging about 4 hours of sleep at night then lucky to get another 2 hours through the day. But these days he sleeps from 7pm - 7am and has 4 hours through the day broken up into 3 naps so I get planty of rest

wow thats really expensive. My kids attend a private swim school too. He's quite far off being able to swim as he's very young still, but I was told by the time he's about 18 months he'll be tredding water

Shans-Water-Babies - Thursday, 31 July
LOL, yes at the moment in Sydney it's 1.07am. I just got home form work a little while ago

Jayden has been doing swimming lessons since he was 3 months old. He loves it. Both my kids go to the same swim school. It's an indoor heated pool and cost me AUS$134 per month so it's not that bad. Even if it was double that price I would still pay :)

Yeah , she blames herself for not waking up. She has three of her own children and so to lose her grandson while he's in her care is devistating for her. She was on suicide watch for the first month. Everything was a real mess because alot of family members where feeling angry with her and being aweful. I didn't feel angry with her until a few months ago when she was looking after Jayden and decided to have some friends around while babysitting and when we got home after being at the movies they were drinking and being loud and I got the shits because I thought..."you failed to keep an eye on Dion and he drowned and now you have a second chance with a new baby and you've got friends over drinking??" I just couldnt understand how she could not want to be extra careful considering the circumstances. I wont let her mind Jayden unless it's at our place and when she does mind him Angie wont leave Jayden and wants to "keep him safe". I dont think she trusts her with Jayden either. It's sad!!

I dont have either messanger at the moment

Shans-Water-Babies - Wednesday, 30 July
At first I kept thinking he was going to come in the front door any minute, then after a while the loss set in and I felt like my heart was in pieces, then after a few months I went numb to the pain and these days it feel like I never had him. It's so sereal but I miss him sooo bad. Watching his 5th birthday come and go was hard and our first christmas without him was harder. Buying christmas presents for my daughter and not Dion broke my heart. The first anniversary was a quiet and lonely day and I was full term pregnant with Jayden so my emotions were all over the place. The pain in my stomach is still very much the same and everytime I look at a picture of him I just feel really really sad
If it wasn't for my other children I dont think I could live this life without Dion.

I worked full time aswell which is why Dion never learnt to swim but I should have made it a priority considering we live near the beach and everyone in our family have pools. It could have saved his life. Did you know that the number 1 cause of death in children under 5 years old is accidental drowning!!! It's way too common and the scary thing is your child only needs to be deprived of oxygen for 3 mintues and they can start to become severly brain damaged. They also drown silently so there's no warning or anything.
No one really knows what happened or why but we're guessing his clothes may have got a bit wet while he was trying to get something out of the pool and he's stripped himself off and picked up the pool scoop to get what ever it was out of the pool and fallen in. Dion was the kind of child that if he got his clothes dirty or wet he would take everything off

How do you find that Mirena??? I tried it and it was good at first but after a couple of months I would bleed 2 weeks out of every month. It was so annoying. I had it removed then fell pregnant 4 months later. Wasn't expecting that to happen so fast...or at all...LOL.
I'm done with having children. I've been through alot and wasn't even going to have Jayden (number 3) but we had lost our 4 year old son 6 months before we found out I was pregnant and it didn't feel right terminating the pregnancy. I was very stressed and emotional throughout my pregnancy and was finding it hard to accept it but then about a month before he was due I had a change of heart and felt like I was starting to heal. The thought of having another baby became exciting and the day he was born I fell inlove all over again. Now he's nearly 6 months old and I just love him to bits. He's been a huge part of my healing so I guess you could say he's been a blessing in disquise
