thanks so much for the feedback! what is the trick to keeping him asleep without anyone cuddling him? his bedtime is 8pm and he is sleepy at this time as he's a catnapper throughout the day. but sometimes i do not want to lie down and stay in bed at 8pm. thanks again, i feel a load better.

Thanks for the reply. My son usually has done ten on each side, but once I started pumping and breastfeeding, my breast became engorged again and I got tons more milk. Ever since then my son has on been feeding for 10-15 minutes. His weight gain is great, but I was concerned with the sudden change. Thanks for your input...i feel better!

Hello :o) Willow is just over 13lb now ... She was 9lb born but lost close to a pound after birth. So she is doing really well :o) She is chubby & i love it :o) I know she will lose it once she's mobile. How are your kiddo's doing? Great i hope.

I'm doing fine. How are you? I've been pumping my milk and just giving it to her in a bottle which works better for us both i think. I'm still using formula too. Just trying to adjust to mommy hood. It's going to take a while!

Well I breastfed her at 6:30 this morning and again at 9:30. She seemed fine after the first feeding but when i fed her at 9:30, she was fussy afterwards and still hungry. She fed for an hour and was still hungry! I think my milk supply is low. Plus it hurt so bad when she was feeding. It is very upseting for me. I didn't know it would be so difficult. Do some women just not supply enough milk to satisfy their babies? I feel so guilty for bottle feeding her but I don't want her to starve. What should I do?

Hey Lori,
About the breastfeeding, i've breastfed her probably 3 times today and she eats but she's not getting full and gets all fussy after the feeding so we end up giving her a bottle. I don't know what else to do. I'm thinking I'm just not supplying enough milk. I know my mother couldn't breastfeed me so I don't know. It's so frustrating. When you breastfeed, do you do it every 2 hours? Is your little baby getting full and satisfied after the feeding?

Well I don't think I'm getting her latched on properly. I tried feeding today and she was not having it for the longest time then she finally latched onto the left breast but not the other so I had to pump that one. I just cannot find a good comfortable position to hold her for feeding and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I guess I need to find someone here in town to help me.

Yes Ava was a big girl (though not as big as my son when he was born)....I am glad now that she was since she had a little bit of an infection (non-descript at that) and lost a pound in the NICU. She eats like a lil piglet now so I am sure she has made the pound back up by now. She will be 2 weeks tomorrow (Mon)...it doesnt seem like 2 weeks. Hope all is well with you and yours!!! Take care!
