11.16.07 - I went on my lunch break to get my blood work done. This is no fun. I have the worst heart burn and I really didn't feel like getting pricked with a needle today. So as I'm getting the blood work done, the technician moved and the needle went in too deep and now I have a bruise! Ugh, it hurt!! I'm also in so much pain from the swelling today. It just keeps getting worse!! Yuck - I'm just so ready!

11.15.07 - Today was ok, but towards the end of the day I got a call from my Doctor. Apparently he's concerned about my weight gain as well, so he wants me to get some blood work done. I guess I'll do that tomorrow!

11.14.07 - Well I went to my Dr's appointment. Everything was ok, but I let my Dr. know how concerned I am about my swelling. It's just soooo bad. It hurts to open and close my fists, my mouth, bending. Anything. I'm just sooooo uncomfortable. I'm gaining weight drastically, but it's all water weight. Ugh...I'm just soooo ready to have my baby and get my body back!!!

11.10.07 - I left work early yesterday because I didn't feel really well. There are just so many things going on. I'm just overwhelmed I guess. I'm just gaining weight rapidly and I'm sooooooo uncomfortable because of the swelling. The baby is good though. I got nervous when a couple of days ago his movement slowed down drastically, but now, he's constantly moving. He's just so cute already!! I love him so much!! I hope all of you are doing well!

11.04.07 - Ok - so I haven't had stretch marks throughout this whole time until now. I woke up today and bam!! There they were. Ugh....it's soooo disappointing. Honestly, they're not even noticeable, and I need to be turned a certain way with a light in a specific spot in order to see them. haha. It's just awful. They weren't there yesterday! I told my cousin and she laughed at me!! ;o) Oh well. The joys of pregnancy.

10.24.07 - Ok - So I went to the Dr's today, and I have gained 14lbs in 4 weeks!! This sucks!! Well, the reason behind all the weight gain is because it's pretty much all water weight. This is killing me!! I'm seriously swollen all over. I have "cankles" now!! I feel like Sherman Klump. I asked my Doc what I'm able to do. He said the best thing is to take a cool bath with the water up to my neck for as long as I possible everyday. He said elevating my feet, standing, laying down, or walking only makes it worse. Also, since the pregnancy I've been addicted to anything salty so I really need to watch my salt intake and increase my water intake. The more water you drink the more it flushes the bad out of your system. On the flip side, I'm measuring at 29 weeks; right where I'm supposed to be and my little boy's heart rate is at 155. My blood pressure is ok so I'm not too worried at this point. It's just that all the swelling is uncomfortable. Anyone have any tips about swelling?

Hi everyone!!! Today (08.13.07) we had our 2nd ultrasound and found out that our baby is going to be a boy!!! I'm so excited!! I cried!! The baby already looks like his daddy!! ;o) Please see the new pics!

Do you have stretch marks?: Nope, plus they're genetic and neither of my parents have them so I'm hoping it stays that way!
Have you felt the baby move?: Yes - once, when I was bout 11 1/2 weeks. It was amazing.
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes, I saw and heard the baby on June 5th, and then July 5th we got to hear the heartbeat again!
