42.1 hours ago Yeah, I tell ya, it sucks when they're kicking on you down there! It stops me right in my tracks when she starts that up! I don't know if I told you or not, but now she's transverse (she still has her feet on my cervix though!) and that's worse, b/c at least SOME docs will deliever breech babies, but I don't know of any that will transverse! Wish this stubborn little girl would move already! I've been doing everything I know to get her to move and she only feels like she's moving her head back UP again!! grrr! Doc, for whatever reason, took me off bedrest and told me to "just be really lazy"...if that makes any sense. I mean, I hated bedrest, so that's good, but I still don't want to go into labor right now w/ her being in this position--I wonder if she just wants to do a stupid c-section! She knows whenever I get up and move around I'm having contractions, so what was up w/ that, who knows? I know part of her thinking is probably that if I were to have the baby now, it would be okay, better than before, but it's still NOT okay b/c she hasn't moved! Anyways...well, glad to hear you only have 2 more days (that is, if you're working today)! Good for you! :) Try to take it easy between now and then! Good luck girl! :) dhutchins37 -
45.8 hours ago That's right you are almost there! How far along were you when you miscarried? It's such a heartbreaking loss whenever it happens. I can't believe the doctor was cruel about it!!! I think the pressure on my cervix is what is killing me too. Does it just feel like cramping almost? It sucks that you are still having to work! I would have had to if we hadn't had that scare a little over a month ago where she started falling way behind. When is your next appt to find out if your baby is still breech? dhutchins37 -
Friday, 25 July I didn't end up having the shower with this one which I'm kind of bummed out about but there have been quite a few ladies that have given me their hand me down stuff and a lot of it is brand new! We had a shower for my first one so all that stuff was brand new since we never got a chance to use it. :( I have been reading up on C Sections and it really doesn't sound that bad. The recover is just longer which sucks. But it only takes five minutes to get the baby out! Then about thirty to sew everything back up. dhutchins37 -
Friday, 25 July Well I just found out today that the C Section is scheduled for August 14th at 12:30. We are very excited! Any more news about your C Section? soon2Bmommyof3Amy -
Thursday, 24 July Are you kidding me? How do you do it working while this pregnant?! It's tough being on bedrest w/ 2 little ones, that much I'll give ya. But I don't know how in the world you're working while carrying around this extra 25-50 lbs! lol Yeah, I really wanna go natural (w/ epidural of course!-I'm not crazy! LoL) if I can, and yeah, it hurt and I also have a tendancy to have long labors but it's still worth 28 hours of labor to me to not have to have a stupid incision to recover from--much less going thru w/ it awake to begin w/! Well, I hope you get some rest, don't work too hard girl, I don't know how you're doin that! I'll talk to ya soon! :) dhutchins37 -
Monday, 21 July Hi! For some reason my computer keeps timing out when I try to respond to you about the c section. Hopefully this works....
Not sure if you got my last message. The computer timed out or something! I just got back from my Monday ultrasound/NST appointment with the perinatologist and they said she is still breach so I'll be scheduling the C Section this week. I think for around August 15th. I'm so ready to get a move on! How did your shower go? I didn't have one for this baby.

Tuesday, 8 July Im just sore. When it happened I felt like I overextended my round ligament... hopefully thats all it is. My side hurts a lot though. ann1333 -
Tuesday, 8 July I sure hope yours goes better than mine! With my last pregnancy I wasn't thrown a shower, so this time I was supposed to have a super special one...but the girl who was going to plan it decided she was too busy (at the last minute) and that she wanted to throw a "meet the baby" party...which I am not into. So another friend and my MIL stepped up to throw this one...and then everyone said they were coming and didn't show! UGH. I did not feel very "loved"...but then again, I guess it just shows who my closest friends are. I know I shouldn't complain, I should be happy that I had anything at all. It's hard though- especially when you hear all these other people talking about how wonderful theirs was or how many neat things they got. I am WAY too old to be such a baby!!!
Preggy hormones!!!!!!!
Anyhoo... I am sure you will have a good time, even if only a few people show up. Fingers crossed for you! lnd22 -
Tuesday, 8 July Actually I called/texted a few of my friends that were invited and asked if they were coming lol... as for family I just assumed they would be there because we are very close. I am sure you will have a great time! and you will get lots of great things!

Monday, 7 July I saw your post... I had the opposite problem... lots of people rsvped and then never showed; some people actually FORGOT about my shower. It was sad, only 3 of MY friends came, and 2 of my moms and a few of my MIL. I tried to be positive, but really I just wanted to cry that no one "loved" me enough. Oh well! Hope your's goes better! lnd22 -
Monday, 7 July hi there! i had the same problem.. hardly anyone called to rsvp to my shower, but everyone i invited showed up... weird and stressful i know because you want to be sure people are coming, but i guess people 'forget' proper etiquette when it comes to rsvp'ing these days. cantchacitsme -

Friday, 20 June Hi - I actually went to see Jimmy Buffet last weekend (craziest tail-gate ever!), my party animal friends were there all day, but hubby and I showed up a few hours before the concert and just hung out. It was nice ot be out in a social setting, doing normal things, and hanging out with friends! There is nothing wrong with it at all. And everyone will give you lots of attention. Also, there were women there way bigger than me. I'm also going to see Kenny Chesney July 14th! leighanna85 -
Friday, 20 June Hey you have to let me know if Pearl Jam plays anything from Ten. That's there best album in my opinion. truthandsoul -
Friday, 20 June I spoke to the doc before going to a concert and was told as long as your not up the front by the speakers then its fine. They just worry about making your baby deaf. Some concerts also put you in the disabled area if you have floor tickets. adriennella -
Friday, 20 June I ready your post about the Pearl Jam concert. I go to shows all of the time. I was just at one a few minutes ago actually. My husband's a musician, so I figure I'm getting my baby ready for the rest of her life. JoAnneMichelle -
Wednesday, 18 June HAHAHAHA Your rant about August being hot cracked me up! I started laughing at my desk and had to tell my office I was laughing at something else. But I am in agreement completely! Its as though this coming August will be your first ever.
