Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Wow, guys really do suck some days. Yeah I emailed mine back, and pretty much told him we aren't friends, we aren't ever going to be there, I will let him know if anything goes on with the baby...I also gave him the ultimatum of getting his life together or not being in his childs life..his decision.

Yeah guys are wonderful aren't they...its a good thing they aren't needed for much! Ha. Mine actually just tried emailing me asking me why I haven't talked to him in 3 days and begging me not to be like this.. yeah whatever.

Actually with time, and well useful information that his sister has told me, it has gotten so much easier and I really am better off without him...I havent heard from him in probably 2 weeks, which is record time for him. But anyway, how is your pregnancy going? Has all your symptoms pretty much stopped? Mine have..but I think that is normal?

Thank you for the comment...it's not getting any easier, and in fact its getting ten times harder and more stressful. Not sure what to do in this situation. It's probably not better for me and the baby, he has nothing to offer and won't be much of a role model..I have just been with him forever and its hard to let it go..

Went for the scan today, no heartbeat, the baby has died. We are just devastated but know some peace in that it is in God's hands. I really hope you have every happiness in your future and that you have a lovely happy healthy baby. This is me signing out.

So I just came across your page today and saw that you are going through this pregnancy without the father of the baby. My childs father actually broke it off today and I am have a hard time dealing with it? Any advice?

I'm really sorry to hear you are having to do this alone but as you say it sounds like he wasn't fatherhood material. Well we're all here for you when you need support, I know its not the same as being there in person but at least we're all going through the same thing.

Hiya Just got back from our holiday in Sardinia, lovely to just relax!!! Back to school tomorrow. I teach Year 2 which is age 6-7, really enjoy it, dd train in older years but love this age now! I know what you mean about not seeing the year through, I feel a bit bad as a few in my class had a teacher on maternity last year too who came back at Christmas for last 2 terms. One of those is a child with Aspergers and doesn't adapt to change well so feel a bit guilty but can't really be helped!! Are you going to go back after maternity leave or are you planning to stay home? I would love to be a stay at home mum but with a new mortgage we just can't do it but at least we get out of school by 3 and have all the hols!!

Hi! All is still going well, starting to feel a little queasy but then was on a rough boat trip on Sunday so not sure if its morning sickness or still sea sickness! I still have 2 weeks of hols left and my hubs and i are going to Sardinia for a week to relax on Thurs so really looking forward to that then of to his brothers wedding in UK , get back day before school starts!!! Feeling like I need to get myself organised really quickly!!! What age do you teach? How are you feeling? x
