Thursday, 19 November for those of you who are not on my other profile...i am having a girl.we are going to name her Madison Nicole. The placenta is right in front of her so daddy has only felt a couple of movements. the te Third -
Wednesday, 18 November Yeah, and even we had of tried to cram everyone into the back of our Vectra, we'd NEVER manage to fit a double pushchair frame plus seat attachments into the boot along with changing bags etc.. it's a big boot, but it's not big enough to accomodate that! Imagine going on holiday crammed into a saloon? No thanks, we need a HUGE boot and a roof box for sure.. I'm starting to get excited now, another week or two and I'll start feeling movements - it's starting to feel more real - that and I'm showing have leaky boobs already! How is your SPD so far? Hope it's not too bad if it's already playing up.. Are you feeling flutters? Ar eyou going to find out or wait for a surprise? I;pm having a c-section to finding out the gender at the birth is my incentive to not be such a chicken and go through with it, it's my light at the end of the tunnel so-to-speak.. Third -
Wednesday, 18 November Ah cool.. 1.1k is a HUGE saving.. Luckily, 13 months between these two when he or she is born, the new baby will get Zachs crib until he or she is 6 months old, Zach'll be 19 months old by then and into Jake's saved toddler bed and new baby into Zach's cot :] We'll need to buy a new toddler bed for the new baby when it's older, but it's from Ikea so we're going to buy one and store it at my dads to make sure it matches Jake's old one that we're saving for Zach...And I never bothered with my changing station with Jake, so I never bought one this time around.. Our only real expense was going to be the pram and a new fixed carseat for Zach. Oh and a Zafira to house our brood haha :]Thankfully, we already live in a 4 bedroomed house, so there's no urgency to move.. It doesn't have a garden though so we will eventually move once the babies are a bit bigger and we're a bit more financially secure (as we'll be debt free in 2013 - woohoo :D )... Third -
Wednesday, 18 November Sure will! I got it for SUCH a bargain too - she's advertised it with the cheaper model carseat, but it's the matrix carseat which has a reclining back so it converts into a carrycot - my FIL is going to pick it up tomorrow evening.. I can't wait til my SIL calls me after she's had a fiddle with it to tell me what she thinks and take some better pics :]This is the one that I've bought: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150388456729&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1182And this is the Lebruss Tandem Zoon but it's VERY pricey - though I LOVE how they can face each other..http://www.lullaboobaby.co.uk/abc-design---zoom-double-tandem-pushchair-670-p.asp?gclid=CM2M1qeNlZ4CFWlr4wodficKqAThey can face each other in the pram I have bought above but only while new baby is still in the car seat attachment and Zach in the stroller street directly underneath the push handle..Our pushchair is in Swindon so thankfully my in-laws only live 40 minutes away as there is nothing in our area - plus this was such a bargain as I said, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it quite as early as 13 weeks! I hope I haven't jinxed anything lol Third -
Wednesday, 18 November I think the other one I looked at a couple of months back was a Lebruss tandem Zoom? Was it one in a blog? Third -

Saturday, 7 November Louise THANKS your post really lifted my spirits, advice was great. Dad has liver failure owing to bowel cancer with liver and lung secondaries. I fly home tomorrow evening, he's in hospital and the doctor mentioned 'acute liver failure' which I know can come on fast, with coma threatened etc. He's exhausted and lucid, but a little bit confused, jaundice, swollen legs and abdomen etc. They have him on drugs to try and settle him tonight. I want to become a nurse myself actually - I have been on the phone with Macmillan nurses and ones from his oncology unit earlier in the illness and was so impressed, at their professionalism and on a personal level they seemed to be really nice genuine people. I'm sorry for your father, life is really tough on the nicest people sometimes isn't it - I'm sure he's really proud of you and all of your children xx tabby-may09 -

Monday, 2 November Thanks for the info on my sleepy baby. She is gaining weight, just sleeping a lot. We had her weight checked twice in 1 week and she is definitely gaining. That would be great if we just had a quiet mellow baby. She is hungry a lot and I feed her on demand. I am supplementing by pumping and putting 1/4 tsp of powdered formula in 1 oz of breast milk. Of course I put her on the breast first and she is doing great with that. It was just super important to me that she gain weight.
