YIPEE!!! 12 WEEKS AND SAW OUR BABE ON SCAN YESTERDAY, SUCH A RELIEF TO SEE IT MOVING ABOUT AND DOING A BOXING MOTION. JUST HOPING THE TIREDNESS SUBSIDES SOON....
I have had a relatively good pregnancy until the last couple of months. Heartburn with vomiting morning, noon and night is the worst!! We found out that i am expecting a GIRL!! It was quite accidental (i didnt want to know) but i work in an ultrasound dept and my mate and collegue slipped up and mentioned that i am having a girl. Poor thing, she felt dreadful but hey its done now and it doesnt matter, just allowed me to be more organised than i would have been. I have been going mad on buying pink stuff since i knew especially since my other child is a 13 yr old boy. Isnt the choice of girlie stuff just sooooo beautiful? I am guessing my compulsion is set to get worse when she is born!
I have been feeling very uncomfortable with breathlessness, aching hips and back, puffy feet and legs and some awesome braxton hicks contractions which i didnt even experience when i carried my son. I am wondering if this is due to being so much older or the maybe just that every pregnancy is different. At the moment i havent even bought what i need, let alone packed my hospital bag because i only started maternity leave 4 days ago and feel as if i cant do much without getting a lot of pain and tightening low down.
I had a scan on Friday and it was discovered that i am carrying too much liqour so this needs investigation. I had a glucose tolerance test this morning YUK! that stuff is horrible lol! getting the results tomorrow and having another scan on thursday this week to check the fluid level again. Just hoping that it has all returned to normal and that i havent developed gestational diabetes so fingers crossed!!
If any one fancies a chat let me know, i love reading everyones experiences and looking at all those cutie babe pics. I will try and add some pictures soon. Good luck ladies :) xx
