I LOVE being pregnant!! This is my second time. My hubby and I did plan this pregnancy, but I didn't realize how easy it was actually going to be getting pregnant. My first son was a c-section, so my second one is going to be also. I heard too many horror stories of trying the natural way the 2nd time around. My C-section is already sceduled for Oct. 1st.

My husband and I have a son, Brayden, that is 23 months old. Brayden will be 2 when we have our second.

Sunday, May 18th 4.5 months along:

My morning sickness is pretty much gone. I am a little queezy until 10:00am but I am not running into the bathroom every 5 minutes like I did the first 4 months. For some reason this pregnancy seems to be harder than my first. I have been really tired and can't get enough sleep.

My belly is already getting big. I am showing a lot quicker this time around. Everyone is saying I will be having another boy. I am still trying to convince my husband to find out the sex of the baby. My appointment is May 27th.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

It's perfectly wonderful that you would want to give your 2 year old your milk. Of course at 2 years old my babes were still nursing, but if you aren't cool with that pumping and giving it to your little one in a cup would be wonderful. :)

If you are interested I have heard of other nutritional shakes esp. for toddlers that supposidly do taste better than just formula for toddlers and such - I think it is in the milk/dairy isle?? I only saw an ad for the stuff a couple of time but I remember thinking - Thank god there is finally something for younger kids! I am not a huge cow milk fan esp. since all mykids are lactose/milk protein intolerant until about age 2 and so far both my boys weaned themselves from the boob around 9 months :(
Anyways - about the births the first sucked!! and it was really only b/c of my doula that I didn't give into drugs (thank the heavens for her!!) and the second time I really practiced hypno-birthing techniques and I contribute my overwhelmingly fantastic labour/birth experience to that.
Good luck this time around and feel free to keep in touch!

There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't give your 2 year old breast milk. There is nothing in cows milk (whole or otherwise) that they can't get from you... our doctor told us that breast milk is the number one healthiest thing to give your child. We were concerned when our son wouldn't drink cow milk, but since we were nursing the doctor said there was nothing to worry about... and we nursed until he was almost three.

My first really wanted to have some too after I had second and was nursing - I had no problem giving him some but it tastes so different that after a few times he didn't care for it but I did use to pump it and use it in place for when I made him Mac&Cheese and other foods requiring fresh milk (cooking it takes away majority of nutrients and such). It's fine and would help to a degree but he will have to like the taste first though. Good Luck!
