Awww that sounds like fun! I can't wait to be in that mommy role.
So i thought i was in labor yesterday but it was nothing. My cramps were getting stronger, my lower back was hurting , and i was leaking what i'm pretty sure wasn't urine. Then after i packed my bags it all stopped. Whats that all about? I'm due today and still no baby. Just a little depressing. Well i have an appointment tomorrow to see if i've progressed some more. Last wed. i was 1cm and 40% effaced.
Yeah, we picked Renee as the middle name. Thats what i wanted all along but i wanted to give my husband a chance to fall in love with it too.

We're actually getting some sleep! I'm surprised. She's sometimes fussy during the day but sleeps like the dead at night. We had a few nights where she went 5-6 hour stretches at a time! I know she's supposed to eat every 2-3 hours, but I let her decide at night! She's a lot of fun though. The hard delivery was worth every painful minute!! How about you? Are you getting rest? Do you have family or anyone helping out? My mom and sister have been taking turns staying with me but I'm really ready for the "help" to leave!! Too many cooks in the kitchen now!!! I'm feeling almost 100% again so all is well.

HAHA! Isn't it funny? You go to change their diaper and surprize!!!! I get peed on all the time. Pooed on once! She HATES diaper changes and sponge baths. I think because it's too cold. During the day she doesn't mind the diaper changes as much, but at night, or early in the morning... forget it! Yeah, everything is way too big. We almost got her some premie clothes, but I said forget it. She'll grow! Little muchkins!!! I have no clue how I am going to go back to work. Leaving her is going to be the hardest thing. At least I still have like 6/7 more weeks at least. It's going to fly by though. :(

Hey - Layla's getting better. She nursed 2 times today. 16 minutes and then 10 minutes. Sooooo she's working on it.
As long as Morrigan's doing well with the boob then don't introduce the bottle. She'll like that more since it's less work. I heard 4-6 weeks for the bottle too. It is easy with others helping though.
I feed her at 12:00 and then she usually gets up at 3:00 and then not until 6:00 or 7:00 am. 3:00 AM is tough! I made daddy do it a few nights, but I have done it the last couple. Being a mom is a 24 hour job! I'm exhausted! They say to sleep whens he sleeps, but when she's sleeping, I'm pumping and washing her clothes, or doing other things... Time is flying already! Time to feed her again now... it never ends! ;-) Hang in there girl!

Well, i had an appointment wed. and i was told i'm 1cm, 40%effaced, and the baby is engaged. Then my doctor did a membrane sweep for me. Since then i lost most of my plug and have had some cramping. I have no idea if i'm getting anywhere. I really hope she comes soon. I was thinking she'd be here this weekend but its not looking that way anymore. Oh well i'm not due till thursday so shes got sometime. Any later and shes grounded. lol!

OMG I just read your birth story. That sucks that they made you go home! Sounds like it went well once you went back to the hospital though. Morrigan's a little cutie!
The pump is my friend. Layla still wants no part of the boob. She nursed for about 5 minutes today. She just hates it. Lazy little thing ;-)
Are you putting lanolin on after nursing. I have this lanolin stuff by Medela. It works great! I want to store my milk, but it just goes so fast. I usually have like one or two in the fridge at a time, but I want more stored...

Holy smokes, I was just popping in to check on you and here you've had your baby!!! She's a beauty! Sorry to hear bout the back labor. I had it too, that pitocin made me vomit 3 times but then I got the epi and I could have kissed the anesthiesologist on the lips!! Glad to hear you didn't have any tearing. Enjoy mommyhood with the little one. Keep in touch!

I went jogging today. It was pretty easy, other than for a few discomforts from having to urinate. I even video'd it so he could see his mom running with him just a few days before his due date! :-) Sorry to hear Morrigan has jaundice, but then happy it's nothing serious. Did the epidural hurt?

Thank you all for your comments on my "Epidural?" blog. i got alot of great feedback and opinions. It is a very hard decision but like most of you said its really hard to make this kinda decision until your actually in labor since there all different. But again thank you so much for the awsome comments!

I read your birthstory this morning. It's all worth it, right? Was the pain worse or about what you expected? The doctor won't check me because I've had no contractions. :-( I have no idea where I stand. It's just a waiting game, no signs at all thus far. I'm happy I feel well but I look at Morrigan and I get so jealous! Thanks for the compliment. I think I look ok too for not working out for 3 months! But then I imagine all the loose skin that'll be there soon and I get depressed. How are you liking motherhood so far?

Hey! The feedings are still tough. She takes the bottle fine, it's just the boob she hates. We're just taking it slow. She did 10 minutes on last night and a 5 minute and 7 minute feeding today. I just pump and give that to her after. Other than that... things are pretty easy. She sleeps most of the time.
