Nope, i stayed home all week. Im too tired to do anything! I am so anxious and stressed out I know that hes not going to come out anytime soon, especially if i stay as high strung as I am right now. Im SOOOOO GRUMPY!!! Anything that anyone says Im snappy and mean...I dont mean it, but I do....Im just miserable and done with all this. I want my body back and my mind back and some sleep!!
They arent talking about inducing at all, shell let me go 2 more weeks before we talk about that. i go tomorrow (due date!! :( for an ultrasound, Im so depressed about it..

It's good to be home, but reality has set in. She sleeps all day and then is up all night. We need to try to get her on a schedule. Last night was rough! She was up all night.
The IV was no big deal. Just make sure they run it slow so it doesn't burn.
Yes, thank God for the pump! She's so lazy that she's having a hard time latching on. She's the sweetest thing though. We've been trying to wake her up. She just wants to sleep. I bet we're in for another long night. I better get in a nap myself. I added 3 pics of her...

I thought the hand thing was weird too until I finally saw a few gals commenting about it. It doesn't feel good, but I'd rather be complaining about that than some of the other things I'm reading. Funny how we are a lot the same. I get the same answer too, "Oh, you'll know." When I woke up this morning at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep because of his movements, I thought how as bad I want to see him, I'll miss him being inside me. My doctor said they won't consider induction until 5 days after my due date. I really do not want to be induced so let's hope he (and she!) come on time or early!!! :-) I'm walking more again and trying to have sex, hoping there's some truth to the semen softening the cervix. So here's to our plugs falling or waters breaking this weekend! I will let you know as soon as I see something and hope you'll do the same. xo

Yeah.. I'm already back at home. I was getting cabin feaver. I was supposed to stay til tomorrow, but they let me go. So good to be home. The hospital was really good though. Everyone was great. Awesome experience.
They didn't have my test results back on time since I had just had the group b step test taken a few days earlier, so they had to treat me for it anyways. They just gave me pennisillan (spelling) in an IV. It wasn't bad the only thing is if they have it moving too fast then it burns. Definitely speak up if you get that burning sensation. Just tell them to run it slow.
As for the milk... my boobs are freaking huge... they hurt and no milk is coming out. I pray that it comes out any second. It's so frustrating. Layla just wants to sleep and doesn't want to work at it so we keep having to give her formula... I really prefer to breast feed so she better latch on quick! Hang in there girl.. You will have all this to look forward to soon.

Hi Erin! I'm feeling fine. My worst complaint is my hands. They've been hurting sooo bad - constant tingling and soreness in my knuckles. Half the time I can't even use them. No signs of him coming yet...no contractions. So many women on here are having them but thank goodness, not me. First I was feeling left out but then imagine going thru that pain for nothing - only to have it a false alarm and be sent home. False labor doesn't really run in my family so hoping that when I finally do feel something, that means it's time. So nothing new on your end either? I keep waiting for a mucus plug to drop. :-) I know, it seems crazy that the time has come. I feel him so much now and my belly is so friggin tight!! He's got to be uncomfortable in there. I'm hoping and hoping I don't go past my due date. I want him born in October. Let me know how your appointment went and how you're feeling.

I'll be straight with you about recovery: it's hard. But it totally depends on your delivery. I had a forceps delivery which resulted in a second degree tear and that's what is causing the most discomfort. Each day is getting better though, I'm 11 days into recovery and I'm finally feeling like I don't have to take my meds so religiously anymore. I even had enough strength to go for a little walk around the block yesterday. Here's a tip: get yourself some Depends, those disposable underwear. You'll be bleeding a lot those first few days and you might have bladder control issues. I know it's old lady'ish but they worked great! Also, eat as healthy as you can to regain strength...chicken soup, beef stew... good hearty meals. I prepared some soups and casseroles in my last weeks and just pulled them out of the freezer after baby came for fast meals. Will you have help? I remember the impatience at the end, I went to 41 weeks and had to get induced. Induction is no picnic, I hope you don't have to go that route! Oh, and I don't know how you feel about pain management, but the epidural was AWESOME. Good luck! Keep me posted!

I'm doing great! Just tired. Hoping to come home tomorrow, but I may have to stay till Saturday. Breastfeeding is such a challenge! It's hard work... :( I just hope it gets easier. My milk hasn't really come in yet, so that's making it hard.

Hey! Doing great. I'm at the hospital now and had Layla yesterday. My water broke Tuesday night. She wasn't dropping, so they had to give me a c section. It was fine. She's such a little doll. 5 lbs 4.4 ounces. I'll probably be here till Saturday.
Oh, I bet the letters came out great! I still haven't got them for Layla... I will later on. Hope you're still feeling well. I will post pics soon. Hopefully you'll have your little girl soon too!

Thanks! Susanna was tough to deliver but what a sweetie! So far she only cries when she needs something! I'm even getting about 6-7 hours of sleep at night! (over 2 hour increments of course.) but I'll take it! How are you feeling these days?
