You're welcome...Did you know a mouse gestation period is 21 days? Useless fact but amazing in comparison!

shk0910 - Thursday, 21 Feb
Sure, I agree 100%.

I think it's funny b/c when my parents had mice in their house I wouldn't let my dad kill them. I made him get the friendly traps that don't kill. He would take them on his way to work and let them go in a big field. Now we have a couple of pet mice. Yeah I know, ewww rodents. But they are so much easier and cheaper then hamsters or gerbils and they don't bite. Plus they are cute and sweet.

Hi! I smiled at your post about the mouse trap...If need be, you should be able to find 'live traps' that catches the little critters without killing them. You can then release them outside...Maybe not such a good idea depending where in Canada you are :) but worth knowing...Maybe you will feel differently once they start chewing on your favorite things (it happened to me!)...

janbob - Thursday, 21 Feb
Ha, ha just read about you saving the mouse - isn't the maternal instinct overwhelming! I think I would be the same - whilst wanting it out because of baby I would also want to look after it and not allow it to be killed!! I am very tearful of late and keep crying at really silly and cute things at the moment - I'm not usually like this but now a days a dog rescue advert has me in tears!!

You are in my prayers. Please keep us posted. Also, I would say something about what happened today when you go in. That is so inappropriate.

I have gone throught the same thing with my DR. They called and said the baby tested positive for DS. I called my high risk and theys said it was a screening and not to worry. I went and talked to the genetic counselor and then had a genetic US/EKG. At first my numbers were 1:106, but the were revised to 1:582 after the US showed no signs of DS. I was offered an amnio, but refused since the US was clear and the risk it put the baby in, possibly for nothing. If you want to chat, message me any time. I share your anxiety!

I'm posting this here because I don't want to drag perfectly happy people in to my pit of fear. My test came back 1/65 for down syndrome which apparently is a big fat positive. So now I have to wait until Friday for more tests to be done. He told me that my due date could be off and that's a reason for the high score.

TopazBecky - Tuesday, 12 Feb
What a terrible situation, I am so sorry that they have you scared. That is completely unprofessional. Best of luck to you.

shk0910 - Tuesday, 12 Feb
They do give you a number for the down syndrome lab but can call it 'positive'. I can't believe the doctors office did that. And a secretary shouldn't be calling you anyway, a nurse, or doctor should. I'm praying.

shk0910 - Tuesday, 12 Feb
What did you have drawn?

DanaO- - Sunday, 10 Feb
Thanks for the message. I can't wait to call the doctor on Monday.

kristy-n-raegan - Wednesday, 6 Feb
Hello! Thank you for the pic comments. Before you know it you will have your little one in your arms... I have to admit there are days I wish I were still pregnant. Being a mom is lot's of work! But worth every second!

swtgrl - Wednesday, 6 Feb
Maybe you read it wrong, I dreamed I was pregnant. I am only on day 16 of my cycle. I might be.
As far as i know I am not. I have been so sleepy for 3 days really sleepy falling asleep driving. SLEEPY

countrymama - Wednesday, 6 Feb
yeah my doctor also gave me a list of things i can take for colds and flu tylenol for aches an pains, sudafed for congestion, robitussin for coughing, and chloraseptic/cepacol lozenges for sore throat, but if you get a fever over 101 you need to go see the doctor

coolwoman206 - Wednesday, 6 Feb
you can not take anything while you are pregnant. you are going to have to let the headc cold go away on it's own. i have had head colds myself and I had to let it go away on it's own and I'm 19 weeks pregnat too.

ymiser24 - Wednesday, 6 Feb
I usually use the vicks nose inhaler. It helps me with the nasal congestion which is common during pregnancy and probably heightened during the winter. Do you use Vicks at night. I usually put some under my nose and it helps m breathe better.
