My profile
Hello! I am Christina, mother of two and one on the way, and wife of Anthony of 2 1/2 years, been together for six! Wow! I am due November 28th of this year and I am praying for a girl this time. :)
April 22, 2009
8 Weeks : Doc visit today, nothing fun, just billing and medical history. Not sick today, slight headache. Loving candy right now. Had my first ever midnight craving last night! Bread and butter pickles and fudge striped cookies!
April 27, 2009
9 Weeks : In the middle of a nine day stretch at work. Not so much fun. I am so so tired. Did I mention I was tired? I'm also pretty bitchy, more so than I've ever been. Is it bad that I think that's funny just a little? :) Still nauseas but haven't had a migraine in a couple of days! Yay!
10 Weeks: More headaches and nausea
11 Weeks: Ditto
12 Weeks: Had my blood work done today, my normal pap and got to listen to my baby's wonderful heartbeat! My nausea and headaches are finally diminishing, but they still like to come around for a little bit. We've, or I, have decided to not find out the sex of this little one, even tho when I heard the heartbeat I got this little vision of a pink cloud around her little beating heart. :) Number 3, boy or girl, doesn't matter, but I can't help thinking how lovely it would be to have a daughter.
13 Weeks: Feeling soooo much better lately! Finally! Still very tired, but the boys are partly to blame for that and the fact that I have to be at work at 5am all the freakin time. But I am feeling better. Summer is right around the corner and we have planned an impromtu vacation to Virginia Beach for a couple of days with the boys. First trip to the ocean for us as a family! Very excited!
14 Weeks: Um so the nausea came back. wtf?
15 weeks: I have been feeling some back pain already. And I cant sleep. Nausea still likes to appear every now and again, but I think its subsiding. But the back pain seems almost like sharp short contractions in my lower back which was where my contractions were with my last baby, and when I almost went into preterm labor at 24 weeks. eek!
16 weeks: Feeling normal...i think. We had a tummy check and took the boys with us to listen to baby's heartbeat. Next up: 20 week ultrasound! but no peeking for us, this time it will be a surprise. Mood swings are in full swing, along w the children driving me batty!
17 Weeks: no change
18 Weeks: Sleep has been uncomfortable, some stretching in my ligaments and back pain....ultrasound getting closer, should i find out the sex or not????
19 Weeks: Ok we are going to find out the sex of the baby. So one more week from today and we'll know if little Quinn or little Alice will be on the way!
20 Weeks: ITS A GIRL!!!! However, now that I know its a girl, I am not sure about Alice. I still love the name Alice Olivia, but now I am just not sure. I also like Adylyn, Hope, Antonia, (after my husband).....i dont know girl names seem more complicated. But I am feeling good, everything looks great so far.
21 Weeks: Finding out we are having a girl has def. put me in good spirits lately. Not sick so much this week, no more charlie horses either after my doc shared a little remedy w me. Just looking forward to my oldest turning five next month and now we are getting the nursery ready!
22 Weeks: Nothing new....
23 weeks: Sinus Pain and congestion! EW! Its even affecting my mouth on the left side...Baby has been moving a lot, which is good...check up on her next week! Six month mark here we come!
24 Weeks: Had my tummy check yesterday. Her ultrasound came out really good...everything is right on track and she is healthy. One more four week appointment and then I go every two weeks! WOW!
25 Weeks: We had a little tiny scare yesterday...I started having some contractions and cramping, but ended being just a bladder infection and some ligament inflammation. I have been resting and feeling better though. The doctors do a good job of scaring the crap out of you though. I can't believe it, we are on a 100 day count down! Whoa Mama! I can't wait to meet my little girl...what a different experience it will be!
26 Weeks: Ok so that wasnt a bladder infection, and it wasnt inflamed ligaments....apparently being pregnant the baby can block your kidneys. Well thats exactly what shes doing. I had some kidney stones that i passed and some blockage on my right kidney. WORST PAIN EVER, GIVE ME CHILD BIRTH ANY DAY! Baby was fine through the whole ordeal, just flipping around and moving about like nothing was wrong. I have been told to take it easy and stay off of my feet....um hello?! I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and no help! Yeah, but my hubby did take some time off to help me and he's been wonderful! Felt so weird being in the hospital and leaving without your baby...made me even more anxious to see her. :)
Week 27: Ok, so less than 90 days! Wow! For some reason nausea has reared its ugly head today again...that is something i can always do without. I went back to work today and had a shitty day there...makes me just wanna stay home with my boys. Pray Anthony gets this promotion so I can.
Week 28: Baby shower was yesterday! We got lots of really nice things. Lots of head bands and bows and pretty outfits...i still cant believe its pink and its mine. :)
Week 29: Wow 29...i can't believe how fast my pregnancy has gone so far. It makes me kinda sad since this is my last pregnancy. I am enjoying feeling her move and squirm inside of me. I will take the restless nights and exhaustion because i love knowing there's a little bundle in my tummy. Can't wait to see her though! Been buying her lots of adorable things to wear and play with....she won't be spoiled at all! :)
Week 30: Starting to get antsy now...lol. Cant sleep, tons of heart burn...i swear she is gonna come out w braids b/c of how much heart burn i have! Starting to sweat alot at night and my feet are starting to retain water...yuck...but Anthony rubs them for me. I just want to hold and rock my baby girl finally! :)
Week 31: So my due date is exactly two months away! So crazy! My appetite is starting to increase and but so are my feet! A little swelling but not too bad. Still gained only around 20 pounds so far. Tomorrow is me and Anthonys 3 year anniversary! How time flies when you're having......babies. lol
Week 32: Eighth month already! She's my little wiggle worm, moving around a lot. But I am also sick to my stomach again and the doc says thats normal sometimes in the last trimester. ick! Other than that we are getting ready for all the little things that she will be needing...and picking up cute little dresses and bows along the way!
Week 33: So um the count down in like less than 50 days! Wow!!!! I am so so anxious to meet my little girl! Everything is just waiting on her! Bassinet is ready, her brothers are already fighting over her to see who she kicks first...lol. Still a no name tho...we like Antonia Corrine and Adalyn Hope and Lila so far....
Week 34: So I'm a little hormonal today. Or you could just call it bitchy. Yeah I am pretty bitchy today. I cried and I yelled and I still dont feel better. I just want to stop working, I need more help around the house, I need the boys to be angels, I need to finish getting stuff for baby and I need my feet rubbed....I dont think that thats too much to ask for at all! :) OOOOO I dont know, almost done I guess and then I will get to meet my daughter and adjust to the new schedule and life. If only I could just run away for a little while until then...
Week 35: Still up and down w names and the one name I really love, my husband doesnt really like it. Lydia. I love it. Lydia Hope. Still feel like crap and I dont think its gonna go away for the last few weeks bc that would just be too nice. But I am enjoying being pregnant still and loving feeling her move inside of me. Hiccups twice a day sometimes. By this time next month my daughter could be here! :)
Week 36: I am dilated to one and cervix is thinning out, head is still pretty high though. Only twenty five more days until my due date! Doing some last minute things this weekend and getting baby some stuff. oh boy oh boy here she comes!!!
Week 37: Well everything is done now! We have wipes and diapers and blankets and everything she is going to need in a few weeks! I bought letters for her name to paint and hang up on her wall. Miss Felicity Jane! Your room is ready!
Week 38: Well I am on my way to one of my last appointments! I had some weird symptoms last week that ended me in the hospital a couple of times. I was cramping and they found blood in my urine and didnt know why, so i got poked and cathed a few times....not fun. I get some test results back today so hopefully they know why all that was happening, but little Miss Felicity is doing just fine....I'm the only that suffered in that. I cant believe my pregnancy is ending, its been a long road but not that its over I am kinda sad. But so anxious at the same time! I can't wait to look into my daughters eyes!
