I had some wet discharge a week after my amnio, when I phoned a doctor she asked me to come right away. She took a sample of my discharge and checked the pH level, it was just a wet discharge. But she told me it was the only way to know. Of course, I was at higher risk than you, given my age + amnio.
I don't want to frighten you, I am sure everything is fine, but id you still have it over the weekend phone a doctor.

Yeah it is super thin, real watery. Some days I have more than other days. I am doing ok considering. Have severe baby blues today. I go see my new Dr. on Wednesday....

Yeah, I wear panty liners as sometimes Ill leak urine if I cough or sneeze etc...and alot of discharge, but it is normal unless it has a foul odor.....It will only get worse!!!!!

I just read about you leak. I would suggest you call a doctor. Better safe than sorry. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the wet discharge and amniotic fluid leak. Better they think you are paranoic.

just read your comment ... and don't even talk to me about leaks missus! I know it's way too much TMI but I was getting loads of leaking from one end and then my wonderful and overly honest bf mentioned possible nipple leakage. Argghhh! He wasn't sure and I am really hoping he was mistaken!

I'm glad everything was okay. When we are not sure how we feel, its always best to contact your doc like you did. I'm now 17wks. Mum gets into town today so I'm going to break the news to her.

Yeah, i was in the navy for 2 1/2 years. I had to go through boot camo like everyone else did and yes i was able to shoot all the guns. In the military you have to be qualified to shoot any gun and i was qualified on almost all of them. I am very glad that your appointment went well and that you have nothing to worry about, that makes me feel a whole lot better too. We were able to hear our babys heartbeat today and it was wonderful. The doctor said she is sitting low still so i am hoping she moves up some,lol. Michael and i are going to be alright with him not being able to be here. We both know that is what hw needs to do to bring home money so we understand. I am going to videotape it for him so he doesnt feel like he missed it, wvwn though its not going to be the same its better than nothing. Email me back when you can.

nope I wouldn't know how to check it myself they do internals regularly after a certain number of weeks in some places but in NZ where I live they don't check you til labour time so I have no idea how i'm progressing. I'm hoping i've sneakily dialated like 4cm without any contractions lol! I am doing great, very tired and uncomfortable these days though. I always wanted to be one of those glowing barefoot pregnant woman and I was.. until a couple weeks ago haha I now know why it's hard to find a picture of a pregnant woman past 9 months who doesn't look miserable.
Hw has your pregnancy been so far? do you know what you're having.

I have 2 nephews, so I can assure you the boys can be also sweet! And the girls can be nasty sometimes (I guess I was). I think the best thing is to have both a boy and a girl, the most important thing that they are healthy and happy.
