Gosh, I am still trying to make it work with what I have. The only maternity item I bought was a pair of jeans, and I love them! And I am doing the same as you, wearing sweaters and hoodies, and when I need to go out, I just put on a cami and a coat or a sweater over it. A friend of mine lent me a bunch of her old maternity clothes, but everything she has is too big right now, she gained 75 Lbs when she was preggo (and she is normally a size 0), and even though I am a size 4 and gained only 8 Lbs, her clothes still don't fit right.
I am doing good, started feeling slight heartburn lately, and seems like no matter how much I eat, I always feel stuffed. My belly is still small, but it's grown more in the last couple of weeks. I do have a few pics, I'll put them on my profile later.
I still have 2 more weeks of work until my leave starts, I am trying not to feel so scared about our financial situation, I know a lot of people go through financial hardship and make it through it, so I guess we'll be fine...
Have you found a cute dress yet? I might need one for a Xmas party soon...

Hey there - I read your post about heartburn and oh boy, I know what you mean. I can safely say that I've never had heartburn before pregnancy cos that's something I definitely remember. I've never heard of that almond breeze stuff but I'm in Australia so that might be why. I had no idea it was so painful!

I am not sure about dresses but there are a few stores that sell maternity clothes that I imagine with the holidays carry a selection of party dresses...good luck!
I am currently finishing the last classes I have for my bachelors in art, after the baby comes I will only have like 3 or 4 classes left that I am thinking of taking them during next year. There is a big chance that I will need to work after that so I want to be with the baby the first year while I finish those classes. Are you working? what are your plans? I am getting a haircut today, my hair has grown a lot since I got pregnant and is out of control, that will make me feel better for sure (personal appearance). Have a good weekend!

The first week was a bit rough after we brought him home. I thought I'd never be able to do this, so I in no way wanted a part of having another one down the road! I told my hubby I was done after this one. But now, 12 weeks later (it's his 12 week birthday today), I'm ready for another one! That first week wasn't bad afterall and the few weeks after that weren't so bad either. I was exhausted and frustrated, but every time I looked at his little face, it all went away. He is the best thing that's ever happened to me and I love him more than I ever thought it was possible to love someone. He's my precious gift from God and I wouldn't trade him for the world, even in the rough times. There's nothing like when he's crying and I can pick him up and comfort him and he calms down, then starts smiling at me. He's such a happy baby most of the time. Was a bit colicky at the start, but he grew out of that pretty quickly. He wakes up happy, too. One of his favorite things to do is sit up in the bed with his daddy and watch old cartoons on the Boomerang channel. Haha. He watched scooby-doo the other day! Do you have myspace? If so, I'm on there and added a video of him watching Scooby while laying on the bed. My name on myspace is sunnshine717 if you have it and want to look me up. Cherish every minute with your baby when he gets here because seriously, they grow super fast. He's gained over 5 pounds and grown about 5 inches in just under 3 months! Anyways, keep me posted on how things are going and ask me questions any time :) I'm always around!

After two hours they let me go and said everything was fine.. They said it could have been urine,since it is my third child...although I am pretty sure it wasn't.. I have no clue, but at least everything is okay. I am just emotionally drained! Cried a lot today!LOL

Doc called this evening and my C-section is scheduled for 21 December, unless I deliver early on my own.....if I do it will be an emergency C-Section!

My Dr. appt. went well this morning. Baby weighs approximately 3 lbs, so he gained 1/2 lb in a week!! I passed my Gestational Diabetes test! Eating a Hershey Candy Bar was so much better than drinking that nasty drink. Also, my iron levels were borderline low but I was told to take my prenatals with OJ as it helps with the absorption or iron. On another note I am experiencing hemorrhoids for the first time! It doesn't hurt to go poo, but I always have a huge gush of blood and it sure hurts afterwards. Doc prescribed me something to use for 2 weeks so hopefully that helps. They are internal. My cervix has thinned out so we are just keeping an eye on that.

I'm a special ed teacher at Amherst High School.... Dominic has a grandmother who lives right down the street from my work... she wants to babysit but she can barely walk and is on an oxygen tank... I refuse to put my baby in danger because she might have hurt feelings. I'm not having this baby FOR his family.... (that's my venting that tends to spill out these days)..... I"m not sure if I said this to you or not but sometimes I feel like a surrogate mother who is simply passing on my off spring to his relatives... (I could go on and on)... ahhhh

Michael and i live in southern Califonia. Its almost November and its still in the 90's here. I cant wait till i can look outside and see the rain and feel the cold. I am starting to get tired of the summer and the heat. I have all my clothes before the pregnancy in big suitcases in my closet. I want to keep them so i can get back down to my prepregnancy weight and size. Zoeys room is far from being done i have alot to do still. But i know it will be done before she comes. I have my mom and husband that will help me get it done before its time.
