Hello,

Honestly, I hesitated for a long while myself. But now, I couldn't imagine living without it. It takes the "rocket science" out of counting carbs and calculating amounts. It almost eliminates the need for shots and most of the time you don't even realize that you have it on. Setbacks for me - swimming (especially in public places) , wearing dresses (not having a waist line to attach the pump to), Sex (very awkward with my hubby at first - now it doesn't phase him), and sometimes airline security (I feel like I always am explaining it to the new screener and he has to call his manager, ect. etc... But I plan for this and leave a little earlier.) Overall I am very pleased and have now had it for a little over a year. You will quickly become a pro. It will take you two weeks to be completely comfortable with it.

I noticed that you were from Texas, My husbands parents and his brother (and his family) moved to Katy a few years ago and have been trying to convince us to move down there since then. We go to visit often. I think that it is very nice in Katy and Galvaston was fun - but could never ever imaging living there in the summer. I especially can't imagine being pregnant thru the summer there - you have my best wishes for a cool summer and a healthly pregnancy.
