As you can see, I never got around to putting pictures of my twins at Twinsdays on my page. I'm finding out there is a reason the doctors tell you that 36 is old to be having a baby. It's not so easy. I think my pregnancy with the twins was better than this. I'm still so tired and my lower back is killing me. I found out last week that I'm going to have a couple weeks shaved off my time. My doctor is scheduling a c-section 2 weeks early. (Just in time for my little tax deduction to arrive. lol) As hard as this whole pregnancy has been, I'm really excited and happy to be adding to my crew. I can't wait to meet my baby and kiss his little face and eat his feet. We've decided to name him Leo. Not sure about the middle name yet, but it will be after his God-Father, whoever that may be.

Well, it's about time I put some info on my page. I'm a divorced Mom of twins and expecting baby #3 (with my ex). I'm a little nervous about having another baby since I'm alone now. This has been a tough prenancy so far. Lots of sickness and extremely tired. Luckily, the morning sickness is getting much better. This weekend is the big Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, OH. We'll be there most of the weekend. I'll try and post some pictures. Also, I'll be finding out the sex of the baby in a few weeks. I'm anxious for that.

sorry to hear about your cold. It's definitely been going around. The weather has still been in the 70's here in San Diego but I've still got that new-mommy-afraid-to-take-the-baby-out thing going on so she won't catch anything. The last two days have been challenging. Susanna is usually such a good sleeper but she's been ultra fussy the last two days. I've had to lay her in the crib and walk away and let her scream so I don't lose my sanity. This too shall pass!!! Fortunately, by nighttime, she's ready to sleep. I go to bed at 7:30 now. HAHA.
Hope you catch up on your rest and get those feet up!

just checking in with you to see how you're feeling. Susanna is already a month old! Time is flying! We're having a good time though. She's eating and sleeping well, getting into somewhat of a routine. I'm even getting a little sleep at night too!

Hi there, have you tried pintarsal baths? I dont know if you have that where you are but its good stuff even for chicken pox etc. Gives you an excuse for a long bath too!

Thanks!! I love having pregnant women in my life who have been there before or are experiencing it too. When I gave this news to my older sister who doesn't have kids, she told me to be positive and "look on the bright side..." she doesn't understand that I'm just looking for validation! Someone to say exactly what you just said..."That sucks!"

im gonna tell you what i told the other girl in your situation... start planning it yourself!! ask your bestfriend if she would like to help you...if she doesnt, then she sucks! and all i have to say about the family thing is... if they dont think each baby deserves a day of celebration, then they shouldnt be invited to the shower. thats total bull!!

I think for most of the pregnancy I was really nervous about the delivery part...the pain, not knowing what to expect, where I'll be when it happens, etc. But at this stage of the game, I just want to be done!! The discomfort is almost unbearable! I'll trade sleepless nights and a crying baby for not being kicked 24/7!!
Robin will be in port for the few weeks before and after the due date, it's just a matter of getting a hold of him if I need to go to the hospital during the day. I'm a little nervous about that. It's hard to believe it's just around the corner now. Did you get the epidural with your last babies? I'm still trying to decide on that. Monkee - Tuesday, 19 August

hey, i saw your post about the chinease calender being wrong... it was wrong for me too lol! It said i was having a girl and in the ultrasound pics it is VERY CLEAR that its a boy! I personally think that those things are more or less for fun... and in the cases that they are right it is just strickly by chance.... i mean, the baby can only be a boy or a girl so it does have a 50/50 chance of being right lol!!!

well, I'll have to let you know if your grandma is right. She would predict boy because even at 8 months pregnant, I don't look it (much)from the back, but I turn around and OH BABY!! It's all out front and low.
Glad to hear you have a good support system. But I know what you mean about having someone close to rub the belly and to just validate you. My husband is in the Navy and he's gone a lot for a couple days or weeks at a time, not to mention the 7 month deployment coming up shortly after the baby will be born. I'm glad there is a site like this for us women to come together when we just need someone to talk to. Write anytime. I'd love to hear about your progress. Monkee - Monday, 4 August

We decided to wait until the end to find out. It's fun for us but drives everyone else crazy...ie my mom!!! I tell her, "well you didn't know what I was 30 years ago until I came out!!!" Sorry to hear your having a rough time. I started out okay but it's been seriously downhill since 3rd trim started. I'm so ready to have this baby!!! Do you have a support system around to help you?

Just read your profile - your twins are absolutely gorgeous. Sorry to hear you are on your own - must be quite scary. Will you still get his support? Just a note on the pre eclampsia if you are stressed - I have been quite stresses and it doesn't seem to have made any difference and I really thought it would have. Is your BP ok at the moment? xx

H Iskill thanks for message. Well I'm 31 weeks now and my bp is still quite low - it did blip up for a couple of days about 2 weeks ago and I have no idea why but it's gone back down and stayed down. Hoping it stays like that - it was about 32 weeks last time when they noticed it was high so will definitely keep you posted. Good luck with your pregnancy xxx
