Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Saturday, 30 August Don't feel bad, our baby sleeps in bed with us too! :) Iol, I was just think that -- I'm totally gonna miss him when he starts sleeping in his crib.
Right now he nurses laying down too, which is awesome, because I get to sleep. I figure I'll start putting him in his crib when he doesn't need the night time feedings anymore. ashlyn1016 -
Tuesday, 26 August I agree it probably is thrus. Just be aware, it can take a LONG time to go away - my Tyson got thrush at 5 days, & it took 12-13 weeks to go away. Also make sure you get both the nystatin suspension for him (give it after EVERY feeding not just 4 times a day & rub it all over his mouth with your finger or a q-tip) as well as some nystatin cream for yourself. You can use Lotrimin cream too for you that you can just buy at the store without a prescription. At least Tyson liked the Nystatin - he gobbled it down! mommykris -
Monday, 25 August yes, i agree- it sound like thrush. her pediatrician can prescribe some medicine to get rid of it. it's very, very common! branbug -
Monday, 25 August It sounds like she has thrush. I'd bring her to the pediatrician for him to give her antibiotics. My Hailey had it too and she had to get antibiotics. But that is the only thing that will take it away. My middle child had it when she was a baby as well. :0) 1stimemommy -
Wednesday, 30 July My pediatrician recommended dark karo syrup. It worked great within a couple of days. Hope it helps :) Squive -

Wednesday, 13 Feb My father is an ob/gyn and I work in his office...you asked about the cord clamping...we have had a few patients include in their birthing plan that they want the physician to wait until the cord stops pulsating before it is clamped and cut. My dad feels that as long as the delivery went smoothly and the baby is responding well, he will wait and follow the mother's request. I had considered it, and my ob/gyn even said she would, but when my first one was born the cord was around his neck twice! They had to clamp it and cut it RIGHT AWAY! He did beautifully and his color changed from blue to pink in less than a minute, so no worries. He's as healthy as can be and I don't know if there would have been a difference between waiting or doing it right away (had it not been around his neck). I say that if you have a smooth delivery and your baby is doing well right out of the uterus, then ask the physician to wait a moment and they'll be able to determine if it needs to be done sooner. Good luck! julieoolie -
