I just found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago.. It wasn't such good news at first but now I am very excited. I think I just had to get over the initial shock. My father is a baptist minister and I am going to a be a single parent so you can imagine how that went over with the family. They have learned to accept it now, my mother is getting excited, which is great because i really need the family's support, which I now have. The father of my child and I are living together with no plans to get married at least anytime soon, but he's stepping up to the plate which overcomes one fear of mine. Speaking of fears, it seems all I do lately is worry. I am trying not to stress out but I feel a sense of urgency, I am only 11 weeks pregnant at this point and already feel like I should have everything. Anyways this is just a little about me.
March 8th, 2007- Thursday
Yesterday I had a appointment to have an ultrasound. That thing is amazing, they gave alot of pictures and we got to find out what we are having. I didn't want to leave the office just wanted to stay in there and watch the baby move. It was terrific.
7/25/07 the day before baby Keldon is born (38 weeks prego)

Ok this is the day before my baby is suppose to be born. I am very nervous and excited at the same time. I am scheduled to be induced at 630am July 26, 2007. The anticipation is killing me. I am so ready to meet my little boy. I will make sure to update my page sometime soon after to give you guys an update and tell you how labor was. Thank you all for your support, this website and all the people on it have been very helpful to me, and I greatly appreciate it. I will also make sure to post new pics of baby Keldon, and possibly some of me if I can ever drop some of this weight...lol. Good luck to all of you.

I got home from the hospital last night with baby Keldon. I am so happy to be a new mom and so overwhelmed with the love I have for him. I will write more later to let you guys know about the labor and everything, I just wanted to post a couple of pics so you guys could see my baby boy. Take care and thanks again for your support!

Hey Girl.. I know what you're going through. My parents own the house that I am renting. My brother moved in with my BF and I and he was supposed to move out in 2 months.. We didn't end up getting him out for over a year.. he just moved out a couple of months ago because I pretty much went off on him and had a mental break down. He never contributed a dime towards his living expences. Our utilities went way up when he moved in. He eat all of our food. He came in at late hours of the night and was loud and it goes on and on. Get them out it will distroy your relationship and make you crazy.

Well i was in Dallas for Eric's brothers' soon to be wife's bridal shower. :) I really wanted to be there. I haven't planned a baby shower yet. I know i should have one so that work people can come. I know my family is throwing one for me and not sure when exactly. I can't wait til he is here. I have about 12 weeks or so. :)

Hi Beth Yup, we've got a few names: Esme or Molly for a girl or Felix for a boy. Got any further with names for your little one? How're you feeling now that the day of reckoning is getting closer?! Somedays I feel so confident and then others I think I'll be total crap! Simon's amazing with kids cos one of his step bros was born when he was a teenager and he took care of him till he was about 2. He's also got a baby neice who I LOVE now, but when she was new she was so tiny and fragile, I didn't know what to do with her! Now she's a robust little 9 month old and much more fun...Doesn't bode too well eh?! I hope it'll be different with my own baby! Anyway, better get back to the boring world of work! Take care Dx

I am going to be first time mom also and I am 100 % going to breastfeed. The only thing that could stop me is if it just couldnt work..but I am pretty determined. For me, I can't imagine not doing it. There is an overwhelming amount of research showing that it is better for baby, and even mom too! Good luck...

Hi I read your comment about breastfeeding and thought i would offer some advice. I am pregnant with my third son and I breastfed my frist two and plan to do the same with this one. First of all the first week is the hardest!!! If you can get through the first week you will be a pro! If you want to leave baby with someone just pump a bottle. They have some excellent pumps out there and I never had a problem with them lol. And that way daddy can be a part of the feedings too. Always keep a can of formula on hand though in case your nipples crack really bad and you need a break. The formulas they have out there today are really great and supply so much. Remember though that baby might not latch on and might end up being a bottle baby, or it might just not work for you. Either way I am sure you are going to be a great mommy!!! Oh and I see you are from Moore, I was born and raised in Muskogee LOL. yay for Okies!!! lol take care!!

Good luck to you too, Yes the half way point. Time to really start planning and getting stuff ready, but I still have not done any of that, I have everything just need to start pulling it out of storage...soon. So you have a stubborn little one too. I really think touch or the pressure on them comforts them, and that is why the movement stops. I know with my daughter anyone could feel her move, and when she was born she hated to be wrapped tightly, I can't be sure but that's what I think, it will be a bummer if our partners never get to feel them, we'll have to plan a sneak attack. Ha Ha
