Hi everyone !
My name is Milz and we are having a baby boy. This is my first pregnancy and im excited and scared at the same time. Weve been waiting for this baby and i hope we would be both healthy. Goodluck to all Mommies and babies !!!!

Nov. 07,2007 - hospital check up. My baby is 4 months old and in good health. I did all of the test needed & will go back to the hosp. on Dec. 04.
Dec. 04 - my test were all negative except they found out that im anemic and the doc prescribed a medicines and i have to take it everynite for 1 month. Everything else is good and my baby is healthy. The doc said my baby's head is a bit big but nothin to worry.lol..

Oh, and yes, I definately recommend taking a vitamin during breast feeding. I am still taking my prenatal vitamins and I will continue as long as I am breast feeding. I think most doctors recommend taking vitamins during breast feeding. I don't think that you need a vitamin C, just a good multivitamin.

Hi! I seen your post on the brestfeeding page. I definately recommed getting a breast pump, but it sort of depends on your situation. I had a breast pump given to me (unused) and it was a Playtex (I think) brand and it sucked. I used it the first week after my daughter was born so I had a lot of milk and I was only able to get about 1/2 ounce from each breast, so I went ahead and got the expensice Medela that I didn't think I needed. I felt that if I needed to pump at anytime during my breast feeding days, I didn't want it to be any more difficult than it needed to be and breast feeding is really difficult at first (at least for me it was). I hadn't heard anything bad about the Medela Pump In Style so I got that one. I am a stay at home mom and so I don't NEED to pump, however, I want to be able to have others feed my daughter when I need to be away for whatever reason, and also so her father can feed her. Also, if for some reason I had to take a medication or couldn't feed my daughter, I would have some back up meals for her and I won't have to supplement. Hope this helps! Good luck to you.

i saw your comment on the constipation site..you have to be careful what you eat...because your diet could be causing your son to be constipated and colicy...there are certain foods that you can not have that causes gas..I chose to not breastfeed my son because I knew I couldn't maintain a diet that wouldn't affect him....good luck

hi, i saw your comment on the constipation site. Its normal for your son to put some effort into pooping- its still all new. WHen he is about 2-3 months, the poops will slow down and may not come every day either or may just be once daily. Then when solid food comes into his diet, pooping will be more of an effort again. feel free to message me if you have any more questions.

I only change after every feeding and if he's poopy. About 8-10 times a day, but the poop slows down a bit as they get older. :) FUN FUN FUN LOL

have you thought about pumping and storing your milk for when you cant easily breastfeed. Ur husband might find it to be a good idea for when you two need to get away. You will have extra milk stored and it can be frozen for up to 6 months....

Hello, Yes I say get a pump.. you don't have to get a spendy one but they have some around the 20 dollar range that will do what it needs to. My son is only breastfed and I pump when at work.. You need to pump in case you aren't around or if you get sick and he needs to eat. Also some medications - like antibiotics and birth control pills can cause low milk supply so its good to have some on stand by!

hi! i use lansinoh, i really want to buy medela but it was to expensive for me, this one is $150 (came price at Target and Walmart) and works great! at the beginning i was able to pump 8 oz (combined) now i can pump 2 oz ea, i cannot pump as much because i'm not breasfeeding at the moment so i think this might affected my milk supply... good luck!

Hey Milz, I breastfeed my baby, BUT I also went out and bought a breastpump after my milk came in because when it first came in.. Kaidyn wasnt drinking it fast enough so I started getting engorged, so I pumped it 1. to not waste the milk and 2. so that my hubby and our kids could share in feeding her.

congrats on your baby!! My son rarely burped when I was bf him so don't worry! Just pat and rub his back for a short period and if he doesn't it's ok. Don't pat too long though cuz it could make him throw up. Good luck:)

You can give your baby a sucky anytime, i gave my daughter hers the day after she was born, some babys will not take it and some will. and about bathing the baby, When my baby girl was born, she got a sponge bath everyday until her cord fell off, after that, she still got it once a day. Now i give my baby girl a bath every 2nd day, it depends on the person, on what you want to do, they say a baby only needs a bath 2-3 times a week, but its up to you. hope that helps
