February 6th
Hello my name is Hillary. My boyfriend Dominic and i found out November 10th that i was pregnant. I have 2 little girls already Geneva is 7 and Savannah is 4.. We are very happy and excited. this will be Dominic and my 1st child together. I was having alot of morning sickness and thankfully it stopped about a week ago and i can now eat what i want:) We found out today that we are having another GIRL!!!! and she is healthy. We are happy and cant wait to me our lil girl. We are going to name her Alyssa. still thinking on a middle name.
March 5th
22 weeks today YAY... Well i had another u/s today and she is still defintly a girl :) The lady says she already weighs 1 pound 1 ounce.. Which is great. My baby girl was being cute she was hiding her hand over her face like she is camera shy he he and then she had her hand on her chin like she was thinking.. i love u/s's but no more for me for now. She said the baby is doing great and we dont need any more. Which i guess is a good thing too. We are going to name her Alyssa Rose
March 26th
25 weeks today and just thought id update on how the baby and i are doing. Well she is moving alot more now.. I felt like my belly grew over night. I feel big and i have already gained like 20 pounds and still have 15 weeks to go. I am trying to eat better because i dont want to gain a bunch and then it will be hard to lose. At the end of the day i just feel kind of weak but i am sure its because of being pregnant and kinda big at the same time. Other than that i am great. I had a doctors appt last week and Alyssas heartbeat was great. I am so excited i cant wait to see Alyssa....
April 24th
Well i am 29 weeks and 1 day. i went to my doctors appt yesterday and everything is going great. Heartbeat was great. She didnt like the gooey stuff that the doctor put on my belly to hear her heartbeat she kept kicking, like she was sating get that stuff off me hehe. i am quite tired today and my feet are swollen. I can tell because my shoes are tight. Oh i gained another 6 pounds. I have gained already 35 pounds which i hate. its going to be a tough time loosing this weight. I have a job were i sit all day so eating and sitting doesnt help my body any. I get home and i am just to tired to go on a long walk. Other then that we are good. I go back to the doctors in 3 weeks then after that every 2 weeks until im almost due.
June 2nd
Well i am 34 weeks and 5 days. Only 37 days to go. i am so excited. I wouldnt mind if she came a little early :) I have a doctors appt this friday the 6th and then i start going once a week now. I have gained about 40 pounds. I am not crazy about this but i am defintally going on a diet and going to excercize alot he he. Alyssa moves alot i like it. Dominic feels her once in a while. At night we sometimes just watch her move around, its cool. well i will update more later..
June 17th
Well tomorrow i will be 37 weeks. Only 3 more to go or less YAY!!! I have been having some pelvic cramps and back cramps lately but nothing major. I go to the doctor every Friday now, so we will see if anything has progressed since last week. Last weeks appt was good but no dialation or anything. I feel i might be progressing but we will see. If not its ok because 3 weeks is not to far away. Dominic my boyfriend will just call and say i cant wait to hold Alyssa. He is soooo excited and cant wait to see her. My daughters are so anxious to. My youngest keeps asking me when she is coming. She asked almost everyday this week i said in 3 weeks sweety she said you already said 3 weeks mom. She is confused on why its taking so long. She is funny :) i love my girls!!!!!!!!

Well my due date is July 4th... that day, my husband and his entire family will be 3 hrs away from me at an International Barbershop Singing competition and i will have no one here with me... plus i wanted to go with them... so doc said i was a good candidate for induction... i didnt want to do it but i dont want the chance of going into labor without my husband here...

actually, my doctor said to be rough with it and pull around as if a baby was nursing. he said it will be a little painful, but worth it. he said 3 times a day for 30-45 minutes each time!!! The stimulation causes contractions, just like a baby nursing causes contractions.

They are not sure if she was actually infected, but when I delivered I was infected with Group B-Strep and since my labor progressed so quickly they didn't have the time to give me the proper antibiotics. So they are taking precautionary measures. :(

one game is you can take Babyfood and take off lable so that noone can know what it is and everyone has to taste it and tell you what flavor it is and the one that guess the most correct wins lol but just make sure you have the names of each food on the bottom so you will know what it is lol

I really liked the games at my shower. One was a price is right game. The hostess had boughta whole bunch of baby stuff and you had to guess a total of what it all cost. Woever was closest without going over got a prize. We played a game where you put a clothespin on and when someone said "baby" you could take their pin. Whoever had the most pins at the end won. We played a game with old wives tales and had to guess whether they were for a boy or girl. The last game was the most fun. It was a memory game and she had a big board with cards on it. You had to match the items. I think she found it online so I would advise you to look. When you matched two items they would go with a certain type of candy. Breastfeeding was Milky Way. Engorgement was Mounds. Fathers name was Sugar Daddy. It was a HUGE hit and people loved to see which candy bar was coming next.

we played guess my belly, where the ladies had to guess how big my belly was using yarn. Then we did a word search I got from showerinabox.com, then when they were done with that, I made them turn it over put the paper on the top of their heads, and draw a baby from memory. Then I picked the baby I liked the best and that person won. Sothe person who's string closest matched the diameter of my belly won, the person with the most words in 2 min. won, and the person with the best looking baby all won a $15 starbucks card.

Hi there- there's a fun game where you pass out paper plates to each player and a pen. Each player places the paper plate on top of their head and draws the best baby that they can and writes their name on the plate. After everyone has drawn their baby, do a little presentation of all the drawings so everyone can see the babies. The mom-to-be judges which baby came out the best. I based my decision on which baby came out looking the most complete. It's a lot of fun because the babies come out pretty funny looking.

Hey there, About your comment about fetal movement. I was calling my baby squirmy for the longest time because that's all I would feel. Flips and blips. Now I'm at the end of week 35 the baby is stronger and stays in one place so it now is kick-kick-punch with the occasional shoulder out the front. Don't you worry. That baby will start KICKING and it's not as pleasant. It actually can stop me in my tracks. But I do love feeling a little foot out the side. So cute.

form the top of your pubic bone to the top of your uterus.. you should be laying down so you can feel where the uterus is and then the cm should match your week or close to it, they give a margin of 2cm so don't freak if its a little more or less every woman is different. My doc only just started doing this.

You measure from the top of your pubic bone to the top of your uterus. It's called fundal height and it should corrospond with how many weeks you are. (Example: 31weeks pregnant = fundal height of 31cm). I think it would be really hard to do yourself, but you could probably have your partner help you. My dr. has me lay down to get an accurate measurement. I'm sure you could ask your dr. to do it for you at your next visit. I'm sure they have a tape measure laying around! Good luck!!

Thanks for your reply!! My son was 8'6...so I'm hoping this one will be a good size too! I remember that u/s can be off by a lb either way, so I'm going to think the smaller size! haha Although the big size would explain my big belly! Maybe I'll use the big baby as an excuse for my protruding stomach!

I always thought that summer babies come out early because its warm and winter babies stay late?

i have gained 50 lbs if that helps and this is my second and i'm going to the doc appt today and i dont even want to know what i have gained since then lol.. i sure i'll be in the 180's .. oh and i gained 90 lbs with my daughter and remember this your all water weight so subtract 15 of it from that and after my 1st i lost 40 lbs in the first 2 weeks its alot of water dont panic.. as long as your bp is good thats what they worry about ..
everyone is different in pregnancy and losses different if your anything like me you probally dont have a stretch mark.. i would so rather gain the weight and be huge then have one stretch mark...
