We found out we are expecting #2 we where very suprised! we was not tring to get pregnant b/c i had had a m/c in feb and in may so we was giving it the 3 month break.....

I had my big ultrasound I for sure thought i was having anoher boy b/c this pregnancy was going as easy as my first but my mom said your having a girl! So after my ultra sound we did in fact find out that we are haveing a GIRL but that she also has 2 soft marker for Down Syndrom she has calcium on her heart and her left kidney is dilated to 4.7mm.

Had my quad screening done to see what my chances are of having a child w/ down syndrome....

Results are back for the quad screen it is neg. But I still have tons of question will have to wait to see the dr on October 23....

Dr appt... well dr was at the hospital so i had to see the nurse, i found out my chance of having a child with down syndrom is 1 in 5000 sound pretty good but at time im still worried and scared! also the nurse said that if there was somthing really wrong the ultrasound dr would want to see me back sooner that 34 weeks, also they changed my DD to 3/5 and we have picked out the name Julia Paige.....

The day Ive been waiting for..... I had my follow up u/s and Julia was perfect!! There was no spot on her heart and her kidney was perfect! she is 5 lbs 12 oz and she has chubby cheeks and lots of hair :)

DOMINIC 4 MONTHS

We found out on January 29 that we were having a baby boy!! We have pick out the name Dominic Lombardi I just cant wait to meet him!!

Dominic was born on 6/11at 5:12pm via emergancy c-section he was 7 lbs13 oz 211/2inches! we are doing great

~~~labor story~~~

i woke up at 6:45 and was having contraction that were 10 minutes apart! i went pee and lost some of mymucus plug that had blood in it so i got up and ate breakfast still having contraction so i called the dr and talked to the nurse who said that it sounded like i was in labor. so i took a shower and got my husband up we got on the road about 9:30 by then the contraction were 5minutes so i got up to the dr and i was 2-3 cm so i went to the hospital and they started me on patosin and so around 2 my water broke on its own and they check me at 3:30 i was 4 cm and i was having a lot of back labor so i sat in the rocking chair tring to get him to move and he would not then i asked for the epi because i could not that the pain any longer! they check me again 8cm! so then they had me get on my hands and knees to see if that would help and all of a sudden all these people came rushing in my room my butt all up in the air they told me that his heart rate had droped and i was going to need an emergancy c-section so theywheeled me down the hall and at 5:12 Dominic was born! it was awesome i really did not mind the c-section the recovery was not that bad till my insection broke open earlier this week becasue of an infection but now daniel has to pack it 4 times aday but it was all worth it and i would do it again!
