Morning. Well, I guess it's not morning over there! I was just telling JOhn about the ordeal that you had to go through. I just can't believe the way that you were treated there. I am glad that they gave you some pain relief, but was amazed they didn't stop the contractions. Are they any better now that you are home?? I hope your midwife calls you back!!!

I always take bubble baths:) They help!

Oh wow! Sounds like you have been through a hellish experience. I cannot believe how much you were neglected while being there. Heck, you could have gone into labor and had the baby and been ignored. Having to be next to someone throwing their guts up is not lovely either. So...did they give you medication to STOP the contractions??? Sounds like you are pretty dilated and effaced. I can't believe you might not see your doctor for two weeks. What happens if you go into labor and it's not scheduled will he be available?!?? What a mess. You must be exhausted!

Are you feeling any better? Have the contractions and bleeding stopped?

I'm glad you had a bubble bath...those are my favorite. I hope it helped you to relax after that experience.

i think ive been a lil too tired for sex, me and my bf probably only had sex 3 or 4 times this month, the farther i get the less sex we have, but i always want it but i never go for it cuz im too tired lol. and its really sensitive down there(found that out last night lol) and it seems if an orgasm is impossible to get, nothin on his part, i think its just me, it feels great but it take s me a long time. but enough about that. his aunt said she had a whole bunch of sex b4 she had her kids and never got an epidural..... im gettin 1!!!

I will talk to my Dr. today and get a note, it's just so frustrating that my boss, who has two little children of his own doesn't have any compassion for me. Oh well not much longer! I hope everything is going well for you, your little boy is really cute!!

Oh honey!

I am so sorry. I cannot even imagine thinking of my hubby being away. You are one tough woman. I hope that you can spend time with your family while he is away. It must be so hard with him at work now. I wish that I could come help you out!!!

I'm doing ok. I have my mom here with my today:) I see the doctor tomorrow and I'll be able to get off my bum and get out of the house:) YIPEE.

Oh thank you! The hemroids thing is killing me right now. I guess something new for me to think about! We have creams and wipes here both of which I have used but they only work for about an hour. It says you can use them up to 6 times a day so I figure I'm up for about 12 hrs so I guess every 2 hrs I can go again! It's just hard with two little ones cause you sit down and then you are back up again! I never had them with my other two but I do remember what they are like after so I guess I will just need to be prepared that they may be worse this time! Contractions are so hard! It's like you may be having them and nothing is happening but you are worried that you are having them this early! It's just so crazy!

Oh thank you so much! I just left there so frustrated because with my normal OB I ask her any question and she gives me a straight up answer good or bad. Being that the dilating started sooo early and with preterm contractions I was just praying every time I went in that I would stay the same. My contractions and cramping and increased in the past couple of days and so I basically just wanted to know that they weren't actually doing anything and then to find out they were was so hard to hear. I guess I have hit that point where unless I am having full on contractions 5 min apart than I have to get used to it! It's just hard since the past 5 weeks have consisted of willing and praying the contractions away and now I actually get to welcome them!

On the small measurement, it would have just been nice to know that I was measuring small. I guess my doc didn't want me to get freaked out hence why she didn't tell me what my actual measurements were. But to hear oh you are measuring 30cm when I am almost 34 weeks was so shocking. I guess 2 weeks ago I was measuring 28cm so she is growing just fine. I know I have small babies my other girls were 6lbs 2oz exactly and I was 6 lbs 2 oz and my hubby was 6 lbs 2.5oz ! I guess it is a family tradition!

The midwife thing really did shock me. I thought midwifes were there to answer all your questions and had extra time to do so. Having to wait an hour in the room (thank god I didn't have my other kids with me or I would have been screaming for someone to get in there!) and then to kind of be treated like well you aren't our regular patient so we don't want to say anything that was the most frustrating part! Thank you so much for your help and I hope you don't mind that I will probably be coming to you with all my questions!!
Thank you so much!!! Oh and any good hemroid reliefs?? I am not having constipation, if anything more loose bowels but my god they have kicked up really bad. Never thought I would need some sort of relief but it is getting bad! Thank you!!!! :)

I'm doing ok. Yes, I haven't gotten out of bed except to pee. I have taken bed rest very seriously all pregnancy as sad and hard as it is to do...

thank u that was very helpful! im feeling pretty good im having period like cramps but a little stronger baby is still active. im just sitting up i want to go to sleep but for some reason im wide awake. im also waiting for my bf to come home i told him not to rush.

I KNOW.
What is nuts is that I have been on bed rest and have been only getting up to get food and pee. He just really wants to come out. His head on on my cervix, but my cervix was still pretty high. They didn't say anything but that I was 1cm dilated. I will ask the doctor more questions this week when I go in for my appointment and they do the next internal exam.

They didn't do any steriods or anything. I think they won't do that until they see if I am more dilated. I have had contractions for a LONG time with no change...but they were increasing and frequent the past couple days.

I just want him to STAY IN. LOL.

How is your day going? How are you feeling? How's Luke?

I started to open it with him but then got so violently ill with the hyperemesis that I couldn't work anymore. I do plan to help much more after baby comes.

Yes...I did do the thank you's for the shower. The following day lol. I am really too organzied for my own good.

Well it's always nice to hear that you are measuring big when it comes to any issue with pre-term huh? :) I really wish we had more of a way to know when these babies were going to come!

That is so cute about Luke's vocabulary. What a cutie. That just cracks me up. What are you doing for this 3rd birthday?

Oh...lol. Yes if you google Colorado pictures you will probably get all the mountain pictures. It's actually got some huge towns and cities:) We live near Denver which is the capital..a HUGE city.

I really hope that you have a good weekend and stay resting:) Not too much longer!

My appointment went ok. I was throwing up outside in the driveway...but not since then! The doctor was impressed that I wasn't throwing up in the room:)

I'm measuring at 33 weeks...a tad small, but I'm still growing and the development is happening. The baby was 4.5 pounds Wednesday so he is still right on. I found out that I am having a lot more contractions than I previously thought. Today I'm told to lay down in bed and stay hydrated and if they don't improve go back to be monitored. My cervix hasn't changed through all this which they are so thrilled about--but obviously that can change at anytime...so I stay on bed rest and then go back next Friday to see if I'm dialted.

We have three dogs:) A 90 pound English lab, a Golden and a mutt:) We love them all and I spend a lot of time with them.

John is handling the bed rest very well. I have been in bed most of the pregnancy so he has gotten used to it. We opened a new business around the same time..so it has been stressful, but there isn't anything we can't get through.

How is Luke doing? Gosh, I keep looking at his pictures. He is JUST so cute.

Oh Disney would be great! I have never been to Disney World...but I have been to Disneyland many times. I will probably be out there next year after you.

I live in Colorado. Smack in the middle of the states. It is utterly beautiful here. We have amazing mountains-it's basically a bunch of cities surrounded by incredible mountains:) I love it!

Thanks honey. I will write you back today. I'm doing ok. Actually my cervix is very long, strong, close and no effacement. They were amazed. I have had a couple cervical surgeries so they are very impressed with my cervix being so strong! They think the bleed just happened and are just glad that everything is ok. Just plugging along and will try to make the best of the bed rest!
