A Lil About Me:

Hi Mommies to Be! My name is Lauren, I am 24 and happily preggers with my first child. I am having a little boy which we (me and my love, Dave) are naming Nathaniel David Diaz. I have never been so happy in my entire life...I never realized how amazing carrying a baby was until now!

I am a full time leasing agent at an apartment community in North Wilmington. My job is really fun and i get to interact with different people all the time and I'm not stuck behind a desk all day. Although walking around so much has been getting a little tiresome these days with the extra weight and swelling feet!

I finally decided to join this website after going on it everyday since I found out I was pregnant! I figured it time to chime in on all the great and helpful discussions I always see. Plus...it gives me a chance to talk about baby with women who know exactly what I am going through and actually like hearing about sore boobies, breastfeeding, pregnant sex, and all the other wonderful things going on in a pregnant woman's world!

When did you find out? A few days before New Year's Eve, but I knew for at least a month!

Did you have any morning sickness? All day sickness was more like it cept I never threw up
What are your fears? A lot from having complications to money worries
What are you most happy about? So far I have had a great pregnancy
Did you want a boy or girl? I wanted a girl at first because of all the cute pink dresses but Im just as happy now about a boy!
What did the father want boy or girl? He wanted a lil race car driver
Do you know what your haveing? A lil man!

How much weight have you gained? 8 pounds
Have you felt the baby move? Yup...thats the best feeling in the world!

Thanks for stopping by my page. I have been getting alot of kicks esp in the morning. I think it would be nice to have the baby a little early, but like you said you just have to wait and see.

I think at any time of the year it probably sucks at the end of the pregnancy. August for me was a waste of my life because the doctor kept telling me that the baby was coming early and she ended up coming almost a week late so I didn't plan anything or go anywhere, I just sat and waited and got bigger and bigger....I think the only negative i can say about being preggers in the summer is that my feet looked like sausages, like fred flintstone feet cuz of the heat, lol.....but thank god for flip flops. other than that it was good, the baby doesn't really do too much during the first few months but sleep so winter went by fast and as soon as spring came around we started going to malls and parks and other places outdoors.......any time you have a baby people will make comments....they are annoying, just ignore them & be happy (a lot of jealous people out there.....they come out of the woodwork when you are at your happiest......)

hey!! yeah, i just wanted to let people know when it was, a lot of ya guys were asking. my sister in law is pregnant with a boy, my hubbys cousin nick is having a boy, and his other cousin stacey had a boy like 2 weeks ago. so, boys are happenin in the family lol. I think it is a boy, but we will know on Tuesday!! YAY!! i will deff let you know!!!! :)

Don't worry too much about the future crying.....i had my first baby last august (so they are gonna be 12 months apart) and she was a dream!!!! Only cried for a bit during her growth spurts, like 2 weeks old, 13 weeks old.....and for the rest of the time has been an angel. She just had her first fever this weekend (she is over 9 months old) and has never had a cold.....just don't think about the negatives and they won't happen...it's true (sounds naive but it works!!) Don't worry so much!!! Honestly, best part of living is being a mom......

colic is just a term that refers to a "difficult to concol baby" because of gas. they just have to be burped frequently and possibly given gas drops. they can somethimes having a hard time going to sleep bacause of gas pains. its really no big deal my son had it and we gave him gas drops with his feeds and burped him and also worked his legs to get him to fart. so he was gas free.

My baby is a nutcase too! It seems like he/she has two days of nonstop tummy bumping action and then has either passed out or knocked itself and that lasts a day. It's so funny cause other people can see my clothes jumping around and are just in awe. Love it!

My son can kick a lot as well. I've been feeling him for weeks now!! Some days he's all over the place. I love it because it reassures me that everything is ok. In fact, I get a little stressed out if I don't feel him, which inevitably happens after a very active kicking day:)

yes, i still see cute girl stuff and go 'awwww' but there is so much gorgeous boy things too, i cant really complain.
i am pleased though, to have one of each, my BF has 4 boys, because she has always wanted a girl, and is now in the precess of TTC, but i think if she had another boy it wouldn't faze her, after all she knows what to do with boys!

hi,,aww ur having a boy? thats cool. my baby boy just turned a year old last Thursday, the year went by so fast. I always thought it was just me feeling that lil ache, it's so hard to explain and I felt it this last time and I knew, i was like uh uh i am not going to think about it, missed a period and still was all umm...its just late then we finallly got a preggo test when my boobs were tender and I was falling asleep all day long and sure enough, it was a shock and suprise but im so thankful I got preggo and had my lil guy, he is my third child and my boyfriend and i think he is just the greatest thing ever.

yea the wait is a horrible one isnt it, i had mine a few weeks ago, so i know exactly how you feel! its now in the pregnancy that you can relax a bit more though, even if it does come back positive, it just means a short-tern lifestyle adjustment.
im having a boy this time too, i would have loved a girl, cause of the cute clothes mostly, but my hubby is really really happy its a boy. hes been wanting a son forever it seems!
