A Lil About Me:

Hi Mommies to Be! My name is Lauren, I am 24 and happily preggers with my first child. I am having a little boy which we (me and my love, Dave) are naming Nathaniel David Diaz. I have never been so happy in my entire life...I never realized how amazing carrying a baby was until now!

I am a full time leasing agent at an apartment community in North Wilmington. My job is really fun and i get to interact with different people all the time and I'm not stuck behind a desk all day. Although walking around so much has been getting a little tiresome these days with the extra weight and swelling feet!

I finally decided to join this website after going on it everyday since I found out I was pregnant! I figured it time to chime in on all the great and helpful discussions I always see. Plus...it gives me a chance to talk about baby with women who know exactly what I am going through and actually like hearing about sore boobies, breastfeeding, pregnant sex, and all the other wonderful things going on in a pregnant woman's world!

When did you find out? A few days before New Year's Eve, but I knew for at least a month!

Did you have any morning sickness? All day sickness was more like it cept I never threw up
What are your fears? A lot from having complications to money worries
What are you most happy about? So far I have had a great pregnancy
Did you want a boy or girl? I wanted a girl at first because of all the cute pink dresses but Im just as happy now about a boy!
What did the father want boy or girl? He wanted a lil race car driver
Do you know what your haveing? A lil man!

How much weight have you gained? 8 pounds
Have you felt the baby move? Yup...thats the best feeling in the world!

Most doctors with healthy babies and pregnancies only require one at 20 weeks, so I'd say you shoud get at least one more.

hi thanks for the feedback. have started eating loads of fruit and also salad. cant believe how different it has made me. before i was pregnant all i ate was meat and fatty food hope i continue to eat healthy. hee hee. i,m twelve weeks today and that feels like such a relief, this pregnancy is so different from my last. i,m wondering if its a girl! it would be nice but as long as itss healthy i dont mind.

Hi lulizzle!!! Thanks for adding me to your friends network, lol.....you know the heat wasn't that bad, cuz i was so excited, i just ate a lot of popsicles and icees and generally kept the air conditioner on so high that my poor husband was frozen, hehehe.....the part that bothered me most was my fred flintstone feet! they got so fat and puffy and i couldn't find any shoes to fit on them, this year i am scared because my brother is getting married on august 9th and it's gonna be very formal and i have already started looking for shoes now.....hehehe.....as for newborn clothes, people told me not to buy too many things that were too small, better to get big and that was good advice cuz my little girl who was supposed to be 7-8 pounds according to the doctor was born at 10 lbs 12 oz. so noooooooooooo newborn stuff fit her, only 3-6 month and i had to trade my newborn diapers for the next size up too!!!!!! doc has already warned me that this baby will be bigger, how is that even possible????? i am scared!! c section, here i come!!

Well that is good to hear that you have plenty of support. I was hearing bad things as well and that really made me worried. You have to try not to think about those things. Just stay as positive as you can and hope for the best. Take care!
