I'm Lunita's Mommy...

Also I already have a beautiful and very intelligent son whom I'm sooo proud of his name is MICHAEL he's 14 years old.

I'm 6 and a half months pregnant or 29 weeks I feel that it has gone pass so fast but still have a few weeks to go to enjoy and treasure .

My little girl is so active she moves and kicks me soo much it make me sooooooooooo happy to feel her
we already have a similar clock we wake up at the same time in the morning the alarm wakes me up at 7am and less than 30 seconds later she make her first movements of the day then during the day when I get tired and have to have a rest or nap she also takes her rest.

Lunitas’ Birth HistoryI woke up at about 3am with some tightening like I have being doing for about 3 weeks now, so I took no notice and tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn’t so got up and started timing them they were coming every 6 to 8 minutes apart and lasting about 50 seconds (nothing new there) I `ve had them much closer than that.But somehow this were a little different I felt like this is it! so in between contractions I spoke to my baby told her how much we all loved her, how happy she would be, how she didn `t have to be afraid to come out. I listened to music and slow danced. At 5am they were coming every 3 to 3 1/2 minutes I still waited more before calling the hospital.At 6 am I finally called them and they told me to come in to hospital. I woke up my son and told him `Lunita is coming ` he jumped out of bed in excitement. We still took over 1 hour to get ready and got a cab to hospital we were there at about 7:30. I had to wait over 1/2 an hour for the room with the pool to be cleaned as it had just being used. At 8:30 I had an internal and was 3 cm dilated with contractions coming every 2-3 min lasting over 1 min. The midwife gave me a sweep and I continued jumping and dancing on the birthing ball to the rhythm of Bjork. The contractions were getting a lot more intense and I had to really concentrate to cope with them I then put the self hypnosis recording and told everyone to be quite when I had them. At 10:30 am I ask the MW how long does it take for the pool to fill up she said about 20 min but don `t worry meaning I had plenty of time I though NOT! But let it go... then she did another internal and found out I was 8 cm the look of shock on her face told me I didn `t have long, but I already knew that she went to get the pool ready by then I was getting in a better position as my back was giving me pain I got on my knees and supported my weight on the bed But I really wanted to be in the pool.....!! When it was ready I jumped in probably about 11am I had some gas and air for a bit to take the edge of the pick of the contraction and was still able to talk and laugh and smile in between them and to direct my son to record the big moment then I got the urge to push but I didn `t wanted to as I wanted her to come out slowly the MW was getting on my nerves she wanted me on my back with my legs up so she could see but I wanted to stay squatting as I was. I did once turn as she wanted and it was very painful!! So I said no way and went back to my position and I told her MY BODY, MY BIRTH, MY BABY!!! Then I felt her coming there was my membranes with a water bubble my MW wanted to check me again but I refused to come out of the pool so she had to check me there and she felt the bubble too she told me now push you are ready 10cm the bubble broke and I started to push a bit at the time and in between I spoke to my baby it help me control the pain as I knew she was coming to me I could feel her head full of hair about 10 min later she was crowning that was painful BUT soo worth it I was screaming like a lioness!! Then 2 more pushes and her head was out a felt her turn her head outside of me and her body inside that was weird... My son saw her head come out too he was recording but my MW didn `t believe her head was out I had to sort of stand up for her to see and believe again I stroke her head and my MW started to tell me what to do again don `t touch her, now sit back, it `s not safe for her to be born in that position and etc. I repeated my self to her MY BODY, MY BABY, MY BIRTH!!! so she backed off I pushed another 2 times and her body came out I caught her and brought her to me at that moment I had total peace and love was soooo magical I kissed her so many times told her how much I loved her and gave her my breast.I came out of the pool and went to the bed to feed her I didn `t let them cut the cord I said I will cut it when it stops beating it took about 25 min to fully stop then I cut it and told her we are now separate in boy but forever together in love it was beautiful. Then My son took his top off and held her skin to skin while I naturally delivered the placenta IT was big and gruesome my son went to look at it juk!! Then I feed my baby again and again.We then got checked and was told if I wanted to go home I could so I did First I had a shower of course.... at 4:30 we were walking out of the hospital with my beautiful baby in my arms my son was so proud of me saying wow you are brave mum that was so quick just because it was all natural isn’t mum?
