I have always always always wanted children but have had Too Many problems with my menstrual cycle, my ovaries etc
That lead to my Doctor telling me that through his tests he is sorry to inform me that i will not be able to have children
...
Needless to say i was devastated.

I kept it real with my husband from the get go...................I told him what my Doctor told me and asked him if he was sure he still wanted to marry me - because in all honesty .. I knew how it important it was for me to have children, and i didn't wanna ruin someone else's future because i can't have any. My husband said

"I don't care what you Doctor said-we will have kids!!"

October 23rd 2007 I found out I was pregnant.

So what happened was, I felt really sick-i couldn't eat anything, and i was vomitting-however i was still having my period a lil so i didn't at all think i was pregnant. I went to the Doctor's (not the one that told me i couldn't get pregnant-i was still in Fiji at this time) to find out what was wrong with..i honestly thought i was dieing lol. This Doctor told me to take a pregnancy test...i didn't for a second think i was pregnant. I took the test the next morning and it was positive!!! i was soooo excited, i was like a kid on Christmas morning foreal! My husband was all like"Oh i knew you was pregnant" - whatever! lol
I had a pretty rough first trimester - i couldn't keep anything down ... not even water - i lost 20lbs and was severely dehydrated. The Doctor's wanted to hospitalize me but i refused ... i just wanted to be home. Roughly around December 12-14...i started feeling better again. January 19th i left Fiji to come back home to Vancity leaving my husband behind. He couldn't come cuz of paperwork etc to allow him into Canada.

My husband and I met December 15th 2006 while i was in New Zealand. We had a whirl wind romanceAn instant connection and just knew from the beginning that this was it.The love was there from day one...He proposed to me February 14th 2007 and we got married September 8th 2007 in Fiji.

My beautiful Suria came into this world

That very moment i realized what real love really is...this lil girl has stolen my heart and is my whole world. Suria is named after my mom and my husband's mom, we combined their names and came up with Suria. We were lookin for a name that was uncommon and sentimental to us-so Suria was the perfect name for us.
Her middle name Jaiya is after my late Grandma who had a big hand in raising me. She was my 2nd mom and i have never stopped missing her and never felt complete without her. Having my babygirl in my life has finally made me feel whole again =) Sadly my lil princess hasn't met her Daddy yet...he still can't come here cuz the damn paperwork hasn't all gone through. Needless to say he is devastated he missed the birth of his first born and still hasn't met her.

We're hoping he gets here soon.

It's good to hear this trimester is better than the last two. I have the back cramps and rib pain, but lucky for us, we don't have much longer. About the cravings, I do crave orange juice lately and I always want ice cream. So good. You haven't had any???

Trust me i know how u feel 7 weeks seems like FOREVER but sayin that it feels like just yesterday i had 7 weeks to go and now i got just over 2 weeks : I axious is not the word I've been trying all sorts to bring on labour a little earlier but it doesn't seem to be working.
And this may sound dumb but i just realised the other day that I've been having really strong braxton hicks for like a week now and weaker ones through out my pregnancy lol.
My Midwife seems too think Im in the early stages but i still think i've got at least 3 weeks before i see him.
Before you kknow it you'll be in my position
Hope your looking after yourself, any news on if your husbands going to make it ??

Yep...Angel is 2 months now...its crazy how i went from being pregnant, to being a mother...its an amazing feeling though! Now she's sleeping through the night, maybe 4 or 5 nights out of the week...so it isnt so bad any more...But she is sooooo spoiled...she likes to be held and rocked all the time...and she will scream at the top of her lungs if she dont get that attention when she wants it!!! Oh lordy, what have i gotten into? Lol

lol. so did you buy your puma bag? and yeah i don't blame you. i would want to be unique myself with the baby bag. but you have to admit, they do have some REALLY CUTE bags for babies lol.

and i'm guyanese. you looked like you were so i was wondering lol.

so have you tried getting other ultrasounds to see what the baby was? i'm sure light green and yellow would be neutral for the baby. it sucks because when you do the room, you don't know if to put it more girly or more boyish. so did you do the room or pick a theme out?

aww well a surprise will be fun! i had a feeling mine was a boy at the beginning but when we got closer to getting the ultrasound i thought it was a girl but its a boy! it didnt matter to me...i would be happy with either! what do you want? boy or girl?

Wow, your first trimester sounds really rough.. Mine wasn't THAT bad. I'm glad that you're feeling much better. I hope that the remainder of your pregnancy continues to be breezy for you. My back hurts most of the day and I always get woken up by bad leg cramps while I'm asleep.

The first trimester really sucked. Morning sickness was the worst. I couldn't eat so I lost weight. Aside from the aches and pains, I feel really good now. Just glad that I'm no longer dealing with the morning sickness anymore. How has your pregnancy been going?
