Well this month flew by , Emily has gotten so big ,she coos at us all the time and cant stop smiling.She still has the same sleeping pattern, and in the morning when she wakes up she is so happy it makes my day just watching her smile.School is in so shes up early and is Julians alarm and thats good since I will start working in September and she will be watched by my Mom.Her big brother still continues to be the best helper even bathing and feeding, he loves pushing the stroller in the Mall. She loves going out for walks.

*********************************1 Month Old Emily Well 1 month has gone by fast, Emily is already beginning to smile at us and it makes us all so happy and she is sleeping better , She wakes up at the same time every night 2:00 - 2:30 am then at 5 am , after she drinks her formula she falls back a sleep and still continues to sleep all day. Her big brother Julian is very helpful and loves carrying her and walking thru our home .She loves looking out the window I think its the sun light , She enjoys going out for a walk she just stares at the sky, The thing I most enjoy is looking into her eyes.P.S I LOVE HER.

Hey, I saw your post about needing a new diaper bag. I have the Coach Heritage Stripe Baby Bag in Brown and I absolutely love it. It has soo many compartments on the inside, comes with a changing pad, and is very roomy. I have a 3 year old son and my 8 week old daughter and I still have room in it after packing all of their things. I know it is very pricey... but I have gone through many diaper bags and this is absolutely the best one!

Did you talk to your employer about FMLA?? It sounds like he/she wasn't made clear that you wanted to take the full 12 weeks (I'm assuming that your employer is covered by FMLA.) Call them and talk to them about it to figure out what your options are. Also when did you start leave? The day baby was born or before that? You may have less time left than you think...

Hi,Reighan had a little of what I thought was a heat rash on her cheeks.Keeping them clean and dry worked for me.Although cornstarch will dry anything up,BUT you have to be really be careful because your dealing with the facial tissue.I would just keep it clean and dry.trust me ,it will go away.

oh my ..well its your right to take time off for maternity. you need to tell him that, if you have to make an excuse but don`t let him walk all over you as he will think he can in future. i don`t know your full rights of what the system is where you live but in the uk you are paid to take a certain amount of time off and you should not be bullied into returning til your ready as you may end up depressed..

If you're in the states, and depending on your state's individual laws you should be able to take the full time off. First of all, I would call the state office and double check on what the maternity leave policy is for your state. Your job should be protected for the full amount of time and they cannot make you come back sooner. I wouldn't, you'll never get that time back with your baby.

It's you right to take 12 weeks. And you will never get those extra weeks back if you do go back to work. Tell your boss respectfully that you will not be returning to work until the 3rd week of September. Good luck

I'd just tell my boss that I'm taking 12 weeks for FMLA leave. At my job, I can take it off and the job's protected, but I lose all of my pay as soon as the doctor's note is up. Best of luck to you.

Audrey had a rash and everyone kept telling me it was just acne or prickly heat. I called the doc and over the phone he diagnosed it as prickly heat. She wasn't getting any better so I took her in even though doc said not to. Turns out she has seborrhea which is a form of eczema. They gave me an ointment for it and she already looks better. I would take her in just in case!

I know just what you mean about the Huggies and pee smell. I switched to Pampers and have tried to go back to Huggies occassionally, but that darn pee smell drives me nuts! It is strictly Pampers for us!

Hey! Just but infant tylenol drops, they have I think grape or cherry flavor. You give her half a drop full its done by weight but i dont think emily id over 11lbs yet right? 6-11lbs get half a drop full. good luck:)
