Today I have an appt with my dr to check for the heartbeat, etc. I've been spotting brown discharge the past 3 days so they want to check everything out to make sure all is okay. I'm so nervous, I hope the heartbeat is still strong and the baby is healthy. I will update as soon as I come home.

Wednesday, 28 Nov
Okay everything is normal and the baby is healthy. Got to hear the heartbeat again. It was 149bpm. So I'm so excited, we set the u/s appt to find out the sex for Jan 3rd. 4 weeks away! I cannot wait.

IT `S A BOY!!

Probably hormones when you deliver help, but it is a major change to your life! You had an older kid at home too, right? But a baby requires so much more constant care. Good thing it gets easier, or I would be in a mental hospital by now, hahaha!

I know exactly what you mean. When we came home from the hospital that first night, all I could think is "what have I done to my life??" Now I am in love with him! LOL

nmck - Tuesday, 22 July
Thank you! He used to be my favorite when he was sleeping b/c I didn't know what to do with him when he was awake. I a starting to really like when he is awake as he becomes more interactive with his smiling and cooing!

You might ask if they do the circ. w/ the plastibel. My first son (Gabe) had the normal circ done, but Kael's was done by my OBGYN (??) at the hospital, and she used the Plastibel method. It was much easier to take care of - really you do nothing to it except clean it off if they get poo on it. The ring thing just falls off once the skin is healed. Except for my DH accidentally nearly ripping the ring off a day early because he grabbed kael's diaper from the front to pull it off (OUCH said Kael), it was much cleaner & easier than Gabe's.

MonikaOH - Tuesday, 15 July
I was told to use 0.4 infant tylenol

juliedue2008 - Tuesday, 15 July
Xander got his circ done one week after.. they did not put him to sleep.. they numb the area and it wore off by the afternoon.. sorry to say he was absoluly missable.. we called to see what we could give him but he was too young.. so make sure ince he is older check and see what you can give him... Xander was fine by the next day.. it was a bad 24 hour period... but just think one bad day is all it will be.. good luck and let me know how it all goes!

nmck - Tuesday, 15 July
Hey! I would NOT give tylenol before the circ because they use anesthesia. I wouldn't want to mess that up.

mybundleofjoy - Tuesday, 15 July
Your son is so cute...he was born two days before my son. I don't have any information regarding being circumsized (sp ?)late...I do hope it all works out well and I will keep you all in prayers!!!

MilMom2Be - Tuesday, 15 July
0.4 mil of the tylenol! Stuff is great, I was a wus and walked out of the rm, made hubby stay and hold her down for the shots....

bellakimmie - Monday, 14 July
