Hey.. there really aren't any side effects...and I really believe it and God has saved this baby...you just ahve to amke sure you take it everyday at the same time...missing an hour or two is fine because it has a 48 hour life in your body but try and be regular. I have no trouble giving myself the shot but others use ice first to numb the spot..I shoot in between my breast and belly button now an dthere is no bruising and minimal pain. You do need to be careful shaving etc...you are now on a blood thinner and so you may bruise easier and you may bleed longer. if you have any bleeding or spotting you need to contact your doctor. That is it really as far as I know. I have had no complications nor heard of any...there is a good support group that I am part of on Yahoo...it is just called the MTHFR group and there are much more knowledgeable ladieson it than me and they are all so friendly!! ask any questions you have...you will have to get off of Lovenox 36 hours before birth and change to heparin. Heparin has a shorter life in your body in case they have to do a C section...oh and you can't take an epidural on Lovenox.
