Hey momma thanks for the comment on my blog. I was a little shocked when she told me we might be doing the c-section sooner! I always thought as long as I didn't go into active labor it would be done at 39 weeks at the earliest but hey thats alright w/ me! He must be excited to get here w/ wyatt I was almost a cm dialated at like 38 weeks lol How's Karson doing? I bet you guys are so excited to have him around for the holidays this year! I think it makes everything so much more fun!

Hi ladies how are you all doing ? i have been sick with a cold and maddi has a cold that hasn't gone away yet i feel so yucky . i wanted to let you all know i have not forgotten about none of you . my doctor wants when i come in on monday to get the h1n1 shot i don't really want to take it since they don't know much about the side affects of it but i want to do what's right for me and my little girl . is scarey been sick and having to worried every time what if i have the swine flu as i know it could be deadly what is the right thing to do ? i am unsure of that . if any of you ladies have gotten it or haven't please i need your input . i haven't gotten my kids the shot of the same reason . other then that things are o.k i will update on monday about what my doctor say's about the placenta previa . i hope you ladies are doing well .

I am glad Karson is alright, although his eye won't look too pretty for a few weeks. Kaleb fell and cut his forehead when he was 13 months old and had to have 4 stitches. It is awful to go through as a parent - we can only protect them so and so much.. xox

Just got my test results back and they are negative, yay! That means the risks of anything happening the next 2-3 weeks are very minimal. I am contemplating whether or not to basically go on bed rest though, since my cervix is still shortening. My own doctor is not a fan of bed rest, but so many sites say it may prevent early labor when you have incompetent cervix. After all the baby is pushing less down on the cervix when you are off your feet. My mom arrived yesterday and is here for 7 weeks, so that is good. It means that either way I can take it easier. I am also waiting to hear back from my doctor about whether or not we can do progesterone injections which is known to help prevent preterm labor. I can't thank everyone enough for the kind and encouraging comments you sent me after my last post. I was so touched by the friendships I have here and so thankful for the prayers. Much love, Karin

Dear friends, please pray for me and baby. I had an extra ultrasound today that I personally requested because is has been 8 weeks since they checked my cervix. I am funneling - meaning my cervix is getting shorter. It is now about 2.7 whereas it was 3.5 8 weeks ago. Studies have shown that women with a cervix shorter than 2.5 has a 50% chance of going into early labor. My doctor took a swap to test for Fetal Fibronectin, a protein that is produced when the body is preparing for labor. I should have the test results by the end of the day. If they are positive there is a 15% chance I will go into labor the next 2 weeks. Please pray it will be negative!! Either way they will be keeping a close eye on me and I will have another ultrasound in two weeks. I am so glad I followed my heart and requested this extra scan, even if I don't have any labor symptoms. Of course I am anxiously waiting for these results - it will be a long afternoon. Hay gals!!!! Twins are doing wonderful and it is such a blessing to finally make it to the 2nd Trimester. Doctor said everything looks wonderful and the risks have lowered since they are fraternal and are not sharing 1 sac or placenta. They have there own nourishments which is a blessing. I can't wait to find out what I'm having and that will be on my next appt on Dec 11. I see some of my gals are almost ready to have there babies and I wish them all blessings that I can give. Im glad that the nausea has finally went away and I'm able to function a little better.

I got my 3rd hcg back it was 654. More than double. I started on the 12th at 117 than on the 14 th at 281 and nw 654. Looks like we are having a baby!!
