Welcome to my page!! Congratulations to everyone!!

I'm Lyndsey from the UK and am thrilled at my very much unplanned pregnancy! I have been with my boyfriend Martin for about a year and a half and he is the most amazing man. He is a soldier in the British Army and shall be carrying out his third operational tour of Afghanistan this summer. He is home in July for 2 weeks and gets shipped home again when I go into labour, so hopefully he won't miss it!!

I'm dreading him leaving as he is obviously the most important person in my life and am devastated he is going to miss out on our baby growing. The most important thing is that he is safe and arrives home in time to see our first child being born.

I have moved all my updates into blogs coz they are getting in the way of all my blinkies and taking up 2 much room!!!! Please still read them!! xxxx

yay i spoke to him

london is only a day he wants to do it if he can but hes not if babys here he said hed like to do it not the old drummer which i can understand n its only 1 gig 1 night so hes planning on driving down in the morning sound check gig then driving back that night so im not on my own for toooo long with the baby.

he also said hed think about moving in properly after wrexham coz he does want to

he also (this is the best bit) agreed to go shopping with me in ikea and toys r us AND bought EVERYTHING

and some other things i cnt remember but hes spent a friggin fortune n hasnt complained once AND he put my wardrobe up and moved things around and put the crib together and als gave me sexy time (that lasted like a minute i think spending monley makes that guy splurt the load too fast) so im in a fab mood now!!! i got loads of things i wanted and needed:D

Sometimes it doesnt bother me when im at work. I forget im pregnant lol! I cant wait to finish though.
Im having him in rochdale infirmary. There are only 6 labour rooms so if they r all full when i am in labour i wll have to go to another hospital.

I know we are going to look so great. I haven't seen many people with it either which is good, everyone has mama's and papa's but reckon this one was sturdier. I have bought it but its not delivered till mid August and have forgotten how to fold it down etc.. ha ha. You look very lovey pregnant by the way x

Aww u poor thing - that sounds horrid. Ru getting plenty of rest? Is there anything that makes it better?
I'm not really sore at all anymore - I think I'm so lucky! It was a bit sore 2sit down straight after and it stung a bit when I went to the toilet 4 about a wk but nothing too bad - and now 2wks after it feels fine pretty much. I think thats because I didn't tear at all. I was so relieved because I was terrified of tearing too. Really think the raspberry tea plays a part coz its supposed 2 make contractions more effective therefore making the 2nd stage of labour faster &a bit easier which means less chance of tearing or needing any instrumental help getting baby out which wud lead to tearing. Obviously I'm sure lots of other factors play a part but can't hurt to try anything that mite help!
Yeah I'm trying to breastfeed - am finding it hardwork sometimes tho& hav given her the occassional bottle which some people say u shouldn't do - but it has really helped 2 take the pressure off at times. It was hard at 1st while she was learning to latch on but she is better at that now which does make it easier - but now she just wants2 feed all the time for like an hr at a time which can get exhausting! Ru thinking of breastfeeding or using formula hun?

Not had chance clare wouldnt leave and i was too upset by the time he got here. i couldnt stop crying still cant and im in agony my back is killing me and my bump is really tight and painful really shouldn have moved things on my own :( x x

had a shit night andrew came over when he figured i was all sad and sore my wardrobe fell on top of me but his sister wouldnt leave and now hes at a party with the beer i bought him for our night in that never happened. hes coming home tho i think later because he noticed i was pretty sad lol. you ok?

What is sciatica hun? Hope you're ok?
Yeah I drank tons of raspberry leaf tea& I really think it helped - my pushing stage of labour wasn't v long &i didn't tear - thankfully! I started drinking it pretty early - I think mayb 32 wks - diff people hav diff opinions (like they do about everything!) but its a myth that it induces labour - i researched it loads& pretty sure its safe 2start having it now hun.
Ella-Rae is doing fine thanku huni - aww you're so sweet :) Think she is having a growth spurt because she wants2 feed every min of the day at the mo - its kinda exhausting!
