That's really unfair about your appointments, you should demand to see a doctor and soon! You are paying them (a LOT of money) for their services and you deserve to get seen! Maybe even switch OB places, I know it's late, but hey-you if won't get your original doc anyway, what's the harm? I would also tell them that you will never recommend any friends to them either

I felt that you were completely in the right for saying something to that woman at the video store! Pregnant or not, I wouldn't have been able to let that one go. Who does she think she is? Clearly she has no children. You need to show discipline anywhere you are - not just at home. It's about consistency. You did the right thing!!

I put this on 36 weeks too, but i thought i would write ytou and let you know here also, just in case you didnt see that one. Are you still having the cramps, or did they subside?? I know how you feel. Ive been having them for two days now. People keep asking how far apart they are, and really dont understand when i tell them they are consistant. they arent like severe cramps for me, jsut like dull period cramps. But they are starting to get a little stronger. I looked up what it ment, and everyone agrees that it is BH, but it really doesnt feel like the BH that i am use to.. but something that is cool is that most of the women said that after having them for like 2 or 3 days straight, without them going away, they started labor right after that. In 2 days I will be 37 weeks, so that would be ok with me, since he will be concidered full term anyway. Another thing i read about them is that the cramps are what you feel when you are having a cervical change, and since i was just a dimple dilated.. I will definately welcome some changing cramps. Sorry this is so long, but i just wanted you to know everything i learned on like my hour and a half research mission. Haha. Good luck!

Yeah, Brenna sure is impatient. I spent the night in the hospital Tuesday night. She was coming and the dr said no, not yet. I started having contractions after work and when I got to Bellevue Hospital they gave me every drug in the book. Most were not working, until they dosed me with morphine. I have been on strict bedrest and they have me taking Terbutaline to relax my uterus (because it wants to contract). So I am in bed now, on my laptop and boy does bedrest suck. Soon, this will be over and we will be blessed with our little bundle of joys

The same thing has been happening to me with the leakage. I went to the DR's office yesterday and they gave me a nurse practioner, which really upset me. She was very blah about the whole thing. I also came down with a yeast infection so I got a perscription for that. When I asked if I had lost part of my plug, since I felt like I did, she just said, "doesn't appear to be so". Then last night I started having pains in my stomach and back pain. I woke up this morning with a wet pantyliner. Are you getting any of this other stuff too?

Not sure about the leaking thing... but I did read that amniotic fluid smells like ammonia. I think thats what they put on a perm? You might want to check with your doc just in case!!
