Saw your question about finger foods. Depending on how old your baby is, you can start on some things. My boy is 7 mos, he's eating the gerber biter biscuits, the risk rusks, and he has on occasion had cheetos and oreos. Your baby may not have mastered the pincher grasp depending on age. We are eating lots of stage 2 and 3 baby foods, and homemade recipe baby foods. Good luck!

My son is 5 1/2 months old and has been on solids since he was 4 months. He's doing rice cereal, bananas, prunes, apples, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, and squash. My son gagged the first time he had peas and I later discovered it was because of the skins not because he didn't like them. So with this batch of peas I mix it with cereal or fruit and it's MUCH easier going down for him. I make all his baby food too, except the cereal and it's very rewarding. Why don't you try mixing his veggies with a fruit and each day as he eats it, put more veggie than fruit til he's eating nothing but the veggie. Gotta get him used to it or once those taste buds really start to form you'll have him used to nothing but a sweet taste and that could be trouble for you down the road. Good luck and let me know if I can do anything else to help.
