saw your post. understandable not wanting to get pregnant again right away. do you think he wants u to get pregnant again right away? you could try an IUD. the IUD they use now are much safer then the old ones they use to use. it is a birth control that they place in your uterine lining and no one would be able to tell.

Chicken Recipes
Sesame Sweet & Sour Chicken Recipe

1 cup

1/2 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

2 teaspoons
whole chicken breasts
egg
ice water
flour
salt
sesame seeds
baking powder
vinegar
brown sugar
Ketchup
pineapple juice
cornstarch
Oil for frying

Container ~ Large serving bowl
Pan Type ~ Skillet

Remove skin from chicken breast. Split chicken breast in half. Remove bone from chicken. Cut chicken into 1/2" strips, set aside. In a small saucepan combine the vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, pineapple juice and cornstarch. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and stir until thickened. In a large bowl, beat the egg with the water. Add the flour, mix well. Heat 1/2" oil in skillet over medium high heat. Dip chicken pieces into batter, let batter drain off, and then dip in sesame seeds. Place battered chicken in skillet and fry until golden brown. Drain browned chicken strips on paper towels. After chicken has drained arrange pieces on serving platter. Pour sauce over top and serve. Great served with rice.

If you lost your mucus plug, which a lot of times is tainted with a little bit of blood, then you shouldn't have more than 2 or 3 weeks. (At least that's what all of the books say.) It's a good sign though. It means that your cervix is softening and dilating at least a little bit. Until you're bent over in pain though, it's a nasty waiting game that gets even worse when the people around you (due at the same time) give birth, and you're still sitting around begging the little thing to come out. Since your cervix seems to be in good shape, you can ask your doctor if he'll schedule an induction date for you, so at least you'll be able to see a light at the end of the tunnel. It always makes me feel better to know how soon I'll be put out of my misery. And then if the baby decides to come before then, it's even better. Just hang in there a little longer. Fortunately, the baby can't stay in there forever. :-)

You never know just based on the dilation. I've heard of first time mothers going into true labor within 12 hours of being checked at 1 cm. But then I know with my 2nd child, I stayed at 3 cm for 6 weeks before I was finally induced. As far as most hospitals go, there's nothing to get too excited about until you reach 4 cm, but if you're having some nice contractions, you can go from 1 to 4 cm in just an hour or two. Unfortunately you can know how much longer you have just by how many cm your doctor tells you that you are. Good luck to you though. It won't be too much longer. :-)

i was 2 cm dialated for a few weeks before i actually had my sun...it could be a while, depending on your body and baby's readiness! id recommend loads of sex, walking, and relaxation!

Please call your doctor and tell that what is going on. You could have moved something too heavy and simply pulled ligaments, or it could be worse and the placenta could have seperated. Placental abruption is serious, and you want to rule it out. No worries until you know for sure, but it's ALWAYS best to be safe than sorry. Call your doctor.

Hi! I felt sad and stressed all through my pregnancy it was very difficult. You aren't hurting your baby... the tightness you feel could be a response to stress or just braxton hicks that you'd feel around this time. It is important though that you see your doctor if you are feeling sad a lot. I went on anti depressants and they helped. Horomones can trigger depression which is hard to deal with when you are pregnant and you are vunerable post partum as well. try to do things for yourself now. take time to do things you enjoy.
