Hello everyone! My name is Christina I'm married we have been together a total of about 6 years now. We have one son together, he is 4 years old. We are now expecting another baby, due in Jan. We are really excited, and can't wait to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl.
Daily or weekly blog (depending)... Most recent entry is Last
that way you can read down the page, to the most recent.

Sept 14, 2007
-- It seems the time is going by so slow, I can't wait until Oct, when
I have my next ultra-sound, I'm hoping at that point they can tell me
if the baby is a boy or a girl, I'll be 6 months by then, so they
should be able to tell me. I have a regular doctor appointment before
then, just the routine check up stuff, at least at that point I can
hear the baby's heartbeat again :)
Sept 17, 2007 -- Well today the baby was moving around alot, I placed my hand on my stomach, and could actually feel the baby move from outside. So I grab my husbands hand, and placed it on my stomach and he got to feel the baby move for the 1st time. *big grin*
Oct 1, 2007 -- 24 Weeks today.
Oct 3, 2007 - - For a week now I have been in pain, my low back right side (and it sometimes radiates to the front). I went to the doc last Wed he thought it was an UTI gave me some antibiotics, but turned out it wasn't an UTI from the test. So Saturday I went to the Hospital hoping they could figure things out, but not really, they said my liver count was border line (meaning a little higher and they would keep me), but that's about it. So I called my doc in tears yesterday because of the pain, and they have an ultra-sound set up for my kidney on Friday (wish it was sooner). But as of right now, no one really knows what is causing me this pain :(
Oct 11, 2007 -- Well the baby is a BOY, now we can plan for his arrival a little better
Oct 22, 2007 -- 27 weeks today
Oct 28, 2007 -- Well tomorrow I will be 28 weeks, I also have a doctors appointment, just a normal check up this time. I'm feeling more and more pregnant each day, I find I get short of breathe alitte more now. Also, getting up and down is starting to be a little harder than it was, and I have what I call the itches, where my abdomen itches alot, but all this is just normal pregnancy stuff. The main thing I have to worry about is my High blood pressure problems, we are keeping a close eye on it, hopefully it doesn't get to out of hand.
Oct 31, 2007 -- Well I hope everyone has a safe and happy halloween, I know my 4 year old is going to tire me out tonight. As for my pregnancy, every thing is going good right now, I hope it continues to go good. My appetite is bigger, well on some days more than others. I'm in my 3rd trimester so thats a good milestone, and probably is why, on some days I want to eat a little more.
Nov 5th -- 29 Weeks today.
Nov 6, 2007 -- I have been having a little heartburn at night, had to break down and chew a tums last night, it helped. The past few days I have been wanting "sweets" more, but still limit myself. My sister is throwing me a baby shower this coming weekend, I'm really happy about that, because every little bit helps.
Nov 9, 2007 -- Well I went to my kidney (urologist) doctor today (about my kidney stone). Right now I'm not in pain, had severe pain for about 3 weeks, but for now it's stopped. I guess the stone moved to a different spot, my doc and I are both hoping it stays out of the way until the baby is born. There isn't much that can be done with a kidney stone while pregnant (pain meds or a stent), but after the baby is born, they can put me to sleep and blast it and break it up IF its still in the kidney. If its moved down any or in the bladder they will put me to sleep, use a scope that has a claw on the end to go in and grab it (pull it out). I go see my OB-GYN next week and I will have another ultra-sound, looking forward to it, to seeing the baby again. Well hope everyone is having a good day.
Nov 12, 2007 -- 30 Weeks today.
Nov 15, 2007 -- I had a doc appointment yesterday, well a ultra-sound and then see the doc. The baby looks good, he is at this time about 3 pounds 8 ounces, growing good. The doctor said they will soon schedule the c-section. He wants to do it around Jan 14th or 15th, unless my Blood pressure gets out of hand or anything comes up, then things will change. I'll have a exact date and time later. Everything is going pretty good, hope it stays on a good track.
Nov 26, 2007 -- 32 Weeks today.
Everything is going pretty normal right now. My hips and low back hurt more, and I've been having heartburn at night, but thats all just a part of it. We had a good thanksgiving, and I did go shopping on black Friday, got some good deals, and called it quits pretty early because I didn't want to get to tired or swore.
Dec 3, 2007 -- 33 Weeks today.
Dec 5, 2007 -- I
had an ultra-sound today, I am 33 weeks and 2 days along. Everything
looks good so far. The baby is 5 pounds and 2 ounces, so he had a
pretty good growing spurt over the past month, which is good. I feel
tired alot, don't have much engergy anymore, a few aches and pains, but
it's all normal, and well worth it. I'm looking forward to Christmas,
and then Jan when we get to meet the newest family member. Well I hope
everyone is having a great day.
Dec 10, 2007 -- 34 weeks today.
Dec 12, 2007 -- Had a doctor's appointment today, everything was good. The baby's heart rate was 145, my BP as with-in the "ok" range. They scheduled my c-section for Jan 15th, it will be in the morning, not sure of exact time yet, but I was told they usually do them around 730am. Unless I go into labor before then, or my blood pressure gets out of hand, then the date will change. If I start having contractions at some time, then I have to go in, and they will most likely do a c-section then.. but I'm hoping it goes according to plan, and just happens on the 15th.
Dec 28, 2007 -- (Ultra-sound) I had it done at the hospital since my normal ultra-sound tech
is out on vacation. I don't know much, IF the did find something they
shouldn't have, they will tell my Doc and he will tell me on my next
appointment. My normal tech would have gave more
info, and would have told me if anything was off, but these people at
the hospital just don't say much. The baby weighs between 6 pounds 4
ounce, and 7 pounds 2 ounces, she said there is a 14 ounce window, but
she is think he is closer to 7. I didn't really get to see much,
because at the hospital they only have the one screen that they
actually look at, and I couldn't see anything. But at the end she
turned the screen and let me see his face. He has the button nose, and
at this time cute little chunky cheeks. It as such a good glance of his
face, I wish I could have gotten a picture. Well only alittle over 2
weeks and we get to see him in person.
HE IS HERE! Jan 15th at 8:12am via c-section. When he was born he weighed 8 pounds even, length 18 and 1/2 inches. Baby is doing good, I'm still in pain, but the recovery from a c-section isn't overnight, it takes time.
