My husband and I have been married for one year one month as of November 7, 2007. We found out we were having a baby at the end of August. We are excited about the new addition to our family and can't wait to see HIM or HER arrive into this world. We don't want to know the sex of our child.
I am a diabetic, so my pregnancy will be monitored because they consider me to be high risk. Not a lot of fun. However, God is still good to do anything but fail.

Well I am now 20 weeks and I feel great. I am not showing yet. Sometimes I feel great about this but other times I don't because people don't believe I am pregnant. My boss asked me to pull up my shirt to see my belly. My husband tells me often that my stomach is getting bigger, so I am okay. The baby is growing healthy.
My husband and I can't agree on baby names. What are some suggestions?

Happy New Years.
The baby and I are doing well. I've started to make arrangements to leave work at the end of April. I just informed my students' parents that I am pregnant. They have already questioned when I am going to leave. My director is looking for someone to take over for me. I just hope that my leaving doesn't affect the growth of my students.

We are now in our Third trimester.
Our baby has earned the name Sir/Madam. Because we don't know and will not be finding out the sex of our baby we or I made up this name. We haven't finalized baby names yet or I should say, my husband hasn't. Because I have some ideas and I am sticking to them until he comes up with something better.
Three weeks ago I had a hard time sleeping. One night it was my back, then my stomach or there just wasn't enough room for me to move. (My husband didn't know it but he was on his way to the couch.) I am sleeping better now but I don't think I am getting enough.
I need to slow things down. So, will be leaving my second job soon. I am also going to put some things on pause at church as well. I don't like sitting at home doing nothing but I know it will be best for me and the baby.
Lately, I've been thinking about nursing. The one thing that is keeping from nursing is 'attachment'. I don't want the baby to want me only. People have told me to consider mixing it up or just nurse for a couple of months. I always think all or none. I may bottle feed and nurse. Just as long as the baby eats.

Sleeping has been hard lately. I toss and turn every two hour because I become uncomfortable. Then once I am comfortable, when my husband gets out the bed to go to work, I get about one hour to sleep then it is my turn to get up and get ready for work. I have not had problems with using the bathroom. I don't go that often. When I sit for a while, then I feel the pressure for Sir/Madam sitting on my bladder, which then forces to use the bathroom. But, throughout the night I don't find myself waking up in need of having to use the bathroom.
My friends are planning my baby shower. I want to be involved but they want it to be a surprise. I love to plan parties and come up with fun ideas to feed and entertain people. Between my mom, sister, and a few friends I guess they will be alright with handling this one. (ha ha ha just kidding). We are going to have fun! Whenever it is???
I am counting the days ....... until our little one arrives.

Well, my husband and I went to the Doctors the other day and found out that we are having twins.... ha ha ha April Fools!!!
My husband and I started taking the parenting classes at our local hospital. We have been learning how to relax and breathe during labor and deliver. The first night we had so much fun. All we did was laugh. If we don't learn anything at these classes it's okay because they helped us to bond.

On Monday my doctor told us that we are 2cm I am so excited. If I don't have the baby by next Monday the doctor will schedule our induction date. I thank God because my blood sugar levels and the baby's weight have been well throughout the pregnancy. These are the key factors which will determine when I will be induced. Tomorrow we will find out the current weight of the baby. Our last visit the baby was 5lbs. 13oz. I am currently 37 weeks.
We have narrowed down the baby names. If we have a girl, her name will be Janiya Lynnel and if we have a boy his name will be Terrence Nehemiah. Can't wait to find out what we are having. It has been very hard to shop.
Did I mention that I haven't had a baby shower yet. Wait, let me take that back my co-workers and students gave me two separate showers before I left. I just hope that I don't have the baby before my surprise baby shower takes place. I can't wait we will have a lot of fun.

Well it happened, my lovely baby shower given to us by our lovely family and friends. We had a great time and got a lot of stuff, our baby is truly BLESSED. Thank you all.
My wonderful mother and good friend Amanda came over and helped me organized the baby’s things. My husband said the baby is going to need his or her own apartment but we are looking for a house so that will be okay.
We went to the doctors today and he told us that next week we will be induced. However, my due date is next week, so what is the difference, my baby won’t be big and I will be able to push him or her out. I can’t wait. Our baby will be here sooooon……

One month later, and he is now 8lbs. 2ozs. He is growing and changing everyday. My family gets mad because I take pictures everyday. He looks different everyday. One day like my husband, then my oldest son and then me. Sometime other he even looks like members of the family.
I am nursing so the baby and I have an intimate connection. He sleeps well. Every two to three days he changes how long he wants to sleep. Overnight has some challenges. One night he sleeps four hours through the night and others he would wake up every two hours. The great thing about this is that he is not a crier; he just wants to sit and look around or be fed.
He has been a joy! My oldest son loves him a lot. Tells him goodbye before leaving for school and the first thing he does when he comes home is washes his hands and face to greet and play with his brother. My husband is more involved then I thought he would be. He does everything by the books and nothing can be changed.
Everything is going well. We are fitting into his world and he is fitting into ours.
He gets his shots at the end of the month. OH NO! But I can't wait so we can be outside and around people more.
He was in pain for the rest of the day. My husband and I was so helpless to him. When he wake up all he did was moan, he sounded like a crying cat. I don't know if we or let me say I can go through this again.

Our son is now two months old. He is 10lbs 10ozs and 22inches long. With eating and sleeping all day long, the pounds just come on. He got his shots on Monday. He cried, I cried, we cried together. My husand held him down the doctor quickly stuck him three times, twice in one leg and once in the other. She was a bit rough, she hurt my baby.

Terrence's Joyous Christening was held on August 10, 2008. It was wonderful. Our pastor anointed him and lifted him up unto our God as symbol of us presenting Terrence back to God. We now are assured that he is cover by God's grace, protection and love. After the service we enjoyed a rainy BBQ at his godmother’s house with family and friends.
Terrence is now three months. God bless a child.
...How is your lil'man doing? How's his sleeping at night? Are you breastfeeding or formula feeding? tell me tell me tell me
Now we pray that the buyers mortgage is approved expeditiously and we close the sale by mid-july.
He is precious. God Bless you and your beautiful family!!!

THATS BEAUTIFUL AND U AND HUBBY WILL HAVE A GORGEOUS LITTLE ONE. GOD BLESS |
