Hi everyone! I am a 23 year old wife and mother of two wonderful little girls and pregnant with my third. This one was a total shock to me and daddy but we are welcoming the new little addition with open arms. Me and my hubby have been together since 1998 and married for four years in July. We have a 8 year old named Olivia and a 3 year old named Lillian. They are great kids! Totally opposite even the way they look! lol. Lily keeps me on my toes!We have a great family,(including our 4 year old dog,suggy) And I'm nervous and super excited about our new addition!
I really feel like this one is a boy. It has been totally different then my other two pregnancies and I just think it's a boy. Not that this is a huge deal but the chinese calender predicts boy and all the silly myths predict boy as well.(which I think is funny) My cousin who is nine weeks ahead of me in her pregnancy did alot of the silly test that I did and they mostly predicted girl and she is having a girl. So in about 4 more weeks we will know for sure,I can't wait to really know!!!
I have been to the docs twice so far. I got to hear the babies heartbeat last time....... 150 beating away! I always love hearing that! :) I have already gained 10lbs! Which I am not thrilled about,lol, But I think it has a bit to do with the fact that (TMI) I can't use the toliet properly. Well anyway that's all I have for now. I will write more after my next appt
6/4/08 Well I had any appt today. I measured small for 17 weeks. I hope that all is well with the little one!! Me and my girls heard the heartbeat again which sounded good. They moved my sono back a wk due to the measurements. June 26th we get to go see our precious baby and know that everthing is well!! I can't wait! I can't stop worrying about everything. I'm hoping after the sono I will be alittle more at easy! Does anyone else worry and have a fear of something happening to the baby?!?!?!!? Please message me if you do so I don't feel like such a FREAK! lol
6/26- Today is the big day we find out how the baby is doing and what HE/SHE is.....................
Well it's a perfect little BOY!!!!! We counldn't be happier! He was looking nice and healthy with all of his parts in place! I am still measuring like 4-5 days small but the U/S tech said that is normal. (They only worry if you are measuring 10 or more days small) we got 6 pictures of him and I can't stop looking at them!!! LOL. His boy parts really do look like a turtle.....hahaha. I cant wait to start shopping for him!!! It's so exciting! My whole family is thrilled....he will be the first boy born in our family since my uncle(and he is almost 40) know we just have to start thinking about names...... Not sure just yet. :)
7/25 - 25 weeks tomorrow!!!
Not to much has changed since my last blog....but I have alot of exciting things coming up!!! I have my doc appt on July 30th (wed) then I go Friday for my second u/s which will put me at pretty much 26 weeks then the day after that me and the fam are going on vacation!!! Can't wait! I can't wait to see our son again! See how much he has grown! Since it is going to be done at an u/s school my appt is almost two hrs long! So I will be able to see him for awhile!!! Then they said I will get pictures too! Yeppy!!!!! I will give everyone an update after that!!
7/30- 25wks 4 days
Well today I had my monthly check-up. I gained 3lbs since my last appointment putting me at a total of 31lbs so far! Holy Moly! :) But little Mason was measuring at 26 wks and his little heart beat was still in the 150's. I go in two wks for my gluclose test then back to the docs in three wks. Then I will start going every 2 wks. I can't belive how fast this is going! Once you hit the docs every two wks its smooth sailing! Anyway I will update again Friday after my U/S.... CAN"T WAIT to see my little baby boy again!
8/21-28 wks 5 days
I had my check up today. I gained 4 more lbs. The babies heartbeat is in the 140's and I'm measuring 30 wks. I got my glucose test results back and they were good. My doc said she wishes more people were eating as good as me. That was a SHOCK to hear! lol. She said everything looked great! I go back every two weeks now! Getting closer to the big day!!! :) I also signed my paperwork to get my tubes tided. alittle nervous about that!

Yeah, well today my husband said "remember, you said if I gave you another baby that you would get skinny after!" What the hell? First of all, I HAVE been bugging him for years to have another one, but I don't ever remembering using my weight as a bargaining tool! what a buttface! I said "okay, well you can lose some with me then!" He actually had the kiwis to say "you think I'm fat?" HA He weighed 180 when we married and he is 6'4"! So he was a greenbean! Now I bet he weighs about 230. He thinks he only needs to lose like 20 pounds. Whatever. I am only 5'2" and so every popsicle shows up on me! But I still weigh less than when I started weight watchers last year, so I'm sitting here all proud of myself and then he went and said that. I'm going to spit in his sandwich tomorrow morning when I make his lunch! HA HA

My bday is Oct 22nd! I'm gonna be close. Hope I go a little early! I have a twin sister and she had her last daughter on our bday. It would be neat if I had my son on that day too.
Yeah, I'm hoping mine stays in for at least 4 more weeks even though it is so uncomfortable in this heat. I want to make sure his little lungs are developed all the way.

I have been getting lots of Braxton Hicks today. My tummy gets so hard! It's kinda cool though cuz then I can feel the baby's butt and stuff poking out. The doc showed me how to feel and tell what is his butt and what is his back or shoulder. He is head down right now just chillin out. Poor little man, I wonder if he gets bored being upside down.

Hi, I see you live in the states so it may be different, but in Canada they DON'T test for hep C, only B and HIV....that's in my province anyway. Call your doc. in the morning and ask if they tested you for it. It would take nothing more than a quick look at the computer for them to tell you for sure and then you will feel better or can get tested.

Well, I found out that Oct 24th is the for sure csection date! The doc checked me and I haven't dilated any more. Holding the same and I didn't gain any since two weeks ago! woohooo!!! So the 24th is on a Friday so that is cool for my family. They live a couple hours away so now they can make plans and room reservations for the night if they want. Now, if I go early, that's their problem! HA
Yeah the heat is getting to me too! It is supposed to be 111 degrees here today. ughhhh
I told my doc yesterday about my leg cramps and I felt like he blew me off. I guess I was hoping for a cure! He just said "well, all pregnancies are different, just take it easy". yeah yeah I swear, I don't care how many babies doctors have delivered, if they are male, they don't have a clue! :)

We are so much alike!~ I am dilated to almost one and starting to thin as well. It's been about 1.5 weeks since they told me that and my appt tomorrow should give me more info. This is my third as well and they said the same thing...not real concerned just want to keep an eye on things. About 2 weeks ago, I started feeling like crap. I can't walk more than a few feet without getting a cramp down my right leg. So I have to walk super slow like a dork. Don't know how much longer I can work like this.
My shower is on Sept 21st and I can't wait! I didn't have one with my second, but this time around I don't have anything anymore and everyone wants me to have one. Who am I to say no?
I registered at Target and I'm going to go online and register at BabysRUs. We don't have one here, but in Sacramento they do and that is where some of my guests are coming from...
I think I may be having some sort of allergic reaction today. Not sure but my lips are super chapped and swollen, my fingertips and palms won't stop itching to the point of being painful, the bottom of my feet itch, my belly is starting to itch and now so is my hoohoo (that is what my daughter calls her crotch!)
Oh and the inside of my mouth is raw, like my tongue and the top of my mouth. I can't figure it out, but I think it may be cantaloupe (sp?) I ate a bunch in the last two days. Almost the equivalant to a whole one. But I've never been allergic before...I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight itching all over.

who is Cindernella? I read your post on 28 weeks! I have two girls that are completely opposite in looks and actions as well, its crazy how different two kids can be raised by the same people, they are only 15 months apart!
Anyway, congratulations on your boy, we are having another girl. lol... at least I know what to expect!

I am getting lots of stretches and rolls today. Makes me feel like I'm on a roller coster sorta. Last night he was kicking like crazy! I think his head is moving up a little. The doc said he was head down the last two visits, but I think he is shifting again. VERY uncomfortable and it seems he is running out of room. Another 2.5 months ugggggh It is going fast, but sometimes I feel like I want him NOW!
You are so lucky to get to see your cousin's baby! I have a few friends pregnant, but I'm the first one, so my baby will be the one that everyone wants to see because he'll be the first in a run of them!
Sami doesn't start college until November, so that is good. She will get a little time with the baby. It is local, so she is staying home for at least another year (I hope). I am one of those mommy's who wishes my baby would stay home forever. At least right now I say that.

So transverse is sideways right? Or is that face forward? I'm being dumb today. Griffin is head down and last night he was super pushed out so I felt his head on one side and his butt on the other and it was so cute! Everyone was asleep and so I couldn't share. HA
Where did you go for your vacation? I would love to go somewhere, but we are redoing our bedroom floors and I am cracking the whip for my hubby to get them done by the end of August. Then I have a list for the backyard! I want to have our "chores" done before the baby. I do this to him every time I'm pregnant. HA

Hey! I'm doing ok I guess. Starting to get really moody again. I swear sometimes I think I am the most hormonal pregnant girl in the world. I always cry but for no reason.

That will be a good experience for you mother. Yeah horses are very popular here! We are the horse nation of the world. That is a great oppurtunity for your girls to be able to ride horses. Do u ride? I would love to go horseback riding again. I live more in the city than the country which is hard to imagine for KY since its all country pretty much.
14 hours will be a long drive but def. worth it once you get here. Are his parents throwing you a baby shower since this is the only time you'll be able to see them? All of my family lives within 30 min of me and my bf's family lives w/ in 10 min.
Are you getting excited about ur lil boy coming?

Oh my gosh that is so amazing and a smart thing to do. Are you allowed to bring anyone since it's for students? Gosh you will get to see your baby in depth. Even if I don't drink caff. my lil guy won't stop moving. I am going to dread the day he can walk lol. I drank a milkshake before one of my u/s and the baby was hyped!
I'm doing good, I feel the baby moving all the time. I have my Glucose-Tolerance test on the 28th, have you taken it yet?
I can only imagine how hot it is there.. blah I am already gasping for air, lol. During the day we feel like we are going to peel over because the heat..haha we're babies! Are you coming to visit his parents? I bet you'll get lots of gifts!! I couldn't imagine the drive from FL to here..at leasts its a vacation. |
