I'm sorry to hear you had a rough delivery. You must have been so scared! However, I'm glad to hear you are both okay!!! Can't wait to see pics! Congrats Mama!

Anelise is doing great. She weighed 6 pounds 14 oz at the Dr yesterday and now that she reached her due date on the 15th, she is now considered a newborn not a preemie anymore. Also...the monitor may get to come off in a month, and I am very happy about that. Take care!

i am strep b positive - wasn't with my other 3 babies but i am with this one..cried a little as i read a bunch of horror stories on the internet, but in truth, its just a simple round of antibiotics when you get to the hospital. i just hope i dont go too quickly that i don't get them - them baby has to stay in hospt for up to a week.

I had group b strep...but it wasn't the cause of my early delivery. Basically they will give you an IV of antibiotic when you go into the hospital to have your baby. They treat you while you are in labor and this will prevent you from transmitting it to the baby. I spiked a fever during labor so just to make sure my baby didn't get anything...they gave her a round of antibiotics also. Everything was fine...and her blood cultures that they drew, were negtive for any transmission. If you were not treated...the results could be devastating...but this is why drs test us beforehand. Nothing to worry about. Hope this help.

I may be wrong but I really feel she doesn't want me to interfer with her vacation her and her beloved boyfriend will be taking the week of the 30th. I know my baby is head down. I feel like crying and trying to do all the natural things evryone have been discussing on here, but was hestiate because I'm suppose to have a c-section. I don't know just very PISSED!!!!!

Hiya i just wanted to say thanks for the advice i saw my doc he was very vaige about the itching but im seeing my midwife nxt tue so hopefully she will know more im having bloods then to.

I have been having those pelvic pains too! they get soooo bad sometimes it feels a bit like im gonna split or something, im walking like ive got a stick up my bum!!
Im still working too and dont finish til the 12 June or 19th depends on how i go. I sit at a desk most of the day and have ended up swapping my desk chair for an excersize ball at start of this week, its better than the chair, but still painful. The hosp has referred me to physio and i start next week....fingers crossed it helps!!!!

Rant all you want! I was just thinking the same thing looking at my filing cabinets and the files that still need to be put away and sorted before I go....It's really only 4 weeks away now...You'll get through it...just remember to take your time.....

Is anyone experiencing more aches now than before? I'm especially feeling achy under my breastbone and I'm having trouble sleeping at night. When I try to switch from one side to another, it's pure hell.
