A mother of three!!

Gabriel John was born on May 30th at 11:20 pm, weighing in at 8 lbs 4 ozs and 21 inches long:)

After my first internal I was in early labour for a week so at my 38 week appt she stretched me again and that was it! I went to the hospital a few hours later. I laboured all on my own for the first time ever for a few hours making it to 6 cm then my doc broke my water. Gabe was born 3 hours and 5 mins later via vagianl delivery(no pain meds) and he is beautiful and fits in perfectly with the rest of the family...we are complete now:)So far he has a wonderful temperment. He only complains when he is hungry and he is sleeping well:)

My recovery is taking longer then I thought it would but i just saw my doc and he said that I am doing remarkably well considering the fact that I have MS. I have had little flare ups but I'm sure it's do to the lack of sleep. I see my neurologist on tuesday so I will up date after that:)

So everything is going swimmingly. My doc wants me to start treatment ASAP but I'm holding out until Sept.



Baby Comments

I am happy to say that I am a pround mother of two amazing children! I am also happy to say that we are having another! My hubby and I tried to get pregnant for 8mths, finally in Sept we get a positive test:) We were both so happy!

38 weeks- I had the rest of my plug fall out and they bloody show but still I wait...I thought being ym third it would happen alot quicker:(

37 weeks- I have been stretched!! We shall see what happens from here....

35 weeks- So I got some exciting news from my doc yesterday:) She said that if thngs a re moving along at 38 weeks that she will stretch my cervix and try and help get the show on the road...i am so happy!! I was a little worried about go over my due date because I heard that women with MS uteruses can't handle the stress of carrying over term...that's what i heard. So of course i mentioned that to my doc and she well just to be on the safe side of the issue that's what she would do.

34 weeks- I am feeling huge now..he is getting so big and so strong!! I Lost some of my plug today, just a little bit so I know there is more to come. I can NOT wait to meet the last peice of the puzzle!!!!

32 weeks- Was a interesting week took a late diabetes test and it came back neg..had a wonderful U...he is getting so big and I got to see his little ribs moving in and out..luv it:)

31 weeks- So I am measuring 33 weeks..my doc wants to have a peak at Gabe and see how big he is and if he is in position...I'm a little worried but I'll be fine:) He is still very active but i tell when he is sleeping and his movements are different now..more stretching then kicks and punches:)

28 weeks- Gabe has been so active this week:) Kicks and punches are getting stronger:) He has turned and is in position..LOL!! I can not wait to see my baby son...I day dream about him everyday. I said to my hubby the other day that I think that I am more in love with this baby then I am him at this point:) Of course I love my hubby..you ladies understand:)

27 weeks the 3rd trimester:) I could not be happier:) I have still been battling a cold and sleeping is still an issue but nw i can see the light at the end of the tunnel:) It will be all worth it:)

26 weeks- IT'S SNOWING!! Strom number 6 i think!!! I am still trying to fight a cold from like 2 months ago! I am not enjoying it:( But my little guy is good:) He is sitting so low that this pregnancy feelings totally different then my daughters. His kicks are in my pelvic bone area...I get the odd punch up at the top but by this time my daughter was beating my ribs up!!

23 weeks- I am so happy that this pregnancy feel as though it is moving very fast:) I had my check up on weds, it went well and i have the dates all set for my rh needle. I am feeling little Gabe getting stronger with his kicks and punches:) He is still the quietest babe that I have carried...anticipation is growing daily:) And I would also like to add that I am totally in love with my husband...

20 weeks...half baked!- Half way there:) I am thrilled:) I'm feeling pretty good besides the headaches(you kinda get use to)and my back is still horrible:( But my wonderful hubby got my a preggo belt which is awesome! And I am getting one of those sleeping pillows today...I hope that helps:) I am not having any dreams yet...I mean I can't remember them if I am. I had real vivid dreams with my daughter but that wasn't until about 8 mths, so maybe I have to wait about bit more:) Here's hoping that the next 19 weeks go as quickly as the first half...I love feeling my baby grow but i'm sorry girls...that's about it:)

Today ...Jan 23/2008 is my 28th birthday!!!

19 weeks- I feel so crappy...when will it get better?? I know now that with each one of my pregnancies my symptoms seem to get worse, my back is killing my(sciatica is out of control) I have regular headaches, I am in discomfort all the time:( My doc says that anything that bothered me with my last pregnancy was most likely to bother me this time and that is so true!

I go for my 2 ultrasound on monday. Hoping for a show:) On the up side, I am sleeping better.

Well I was wrong it's a beautiful perfect baby BOY!!!!!! I could not be more elated!!!
