About Me....

Well it is time to update this section of my page. FINALLY! I am happy to announce that our TTC journey is officially a Pregnancy journey now! I can't believe after all this time and the rough road we have travelled that we are finally going to be parents! We have had a pretty trying time TTC over the last few years but I wouldn't change it for the world. Through the years we were able to grow together and learn how to deal with life as it happens and how to keep moving forward with eachother as support.

To sum up our journey: After our first loss in 2008 we began our journey toward parenthood more focused. I lost my left ovary due to a large endometriosis cyst. We tried naturally for a while and then we basically tried everything else from acupuncture and herbal therapy (which is awesome!) to standing on my head after BDing (not joking LOL)and then finally taking the plunge and visiting a specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah. We participated in a clomid study which lessened the cost of ultrasounds and IUI's. Our second month of the study we were given clomid, a shot of HCG to encourage ovulation and an IUI we finally conceived. As I write I am just barely 4 weeks but feel so postive about this one. I just know that our baby will never feel that he/she was unwanted because we tried so hard for so long.

So don't give up on yourself if you are struggling just keep plunging away at your goal but don't loose yourself either. Grow from each new experience and let it help to mold you into the beautiful parent you will someday become.

Alexander David arrived on June 9th, 2011 at 12:50 a.m. He weighed 7 pounds and was 20.5 inches long!
