Well I'm on my 3rd pregnancy, with one child (almost 3 years). This will be my husband's first-born, and the first grandbaby on his side...We lost the last baby, and are hoping for the best this time around. We lost the last bun around I guess 6 weeks, but didn't know it until around 9 weeks. I had a D&C done, and it was honestly the roughest emotional point in my life. I've made it past that and we've been trying for another baby for so long, but it's so hard to stay excited when you're sick and drained all the time, and worried about a repeat miscarriage! I love this website tho...it makes me feel better knowing i'm not the only one! We're due July 16th...so I feel bad for all of us big and miserable women in the middle of July!!!! Central air and a pool pass!!! Should be fun, but regardless will be well worth it! Best wishes to everyone...this is such an exciting journey!

Well I `m 11 weeks today! So excited to be almost out of the 1st trimester. Next appt is Jan 3, so hopefully we can then schedule a date to find out what I `m having!!! As of this week, I `ve been feeling much better! A little bit more energy and finally NO GETTING SICK!!! I `ll update more after the next appt.

Friday, 4 Jan

I had my 12 week appt. yesterday. I was super nervous to not hear a heartbeat since that happened the last time around. But, my baby's heart was beating strong at 165bpm. I requested to have the Nuchal screening done, and they said more than likely in the next week! I'm so excited! I really really hope I can get a peek at what I'm having! Otherwise, I have to wait until 20 weeks! :-( March seems so far away! I'm ready to start on the nursery colors already!!! Next appt. is Jan 31st, with the exception of that ultrasound. I'm so ready to see my baby looking like a baby instead of a big smudge on the screen.

Wednesday, 9 Jan

Today marks 13 weeks!! I `m sooooo excited now to know that my chances of miscarrying are nearly gone. I `m finally getting giggly and excited and anxious about the baby. I think I will enjoy the pregnancy so much more this time around now that I know everything is well, and everything is not a surprise like the 1st time around. I had to cancel that nuchal screening. Most insurance companies here don `t cover it unless you `re a carrier of downs or if you `re 34 years or older. Needless to say, I don `t have the cash to have it done! Guess I won `t know what I `m having til 20 weeks!!! Seems so far away :-(

Wednesday, 16 Jan

Today marks week 14!!! Everyone keeps tellin me I must be having twins cause I keep blowing up even bigger! My energy is pretty much back to normal and i `m definitely packin on the pounds and a belly! Maternity clothes are beginning to fit a bit better...almost half way there...next appt. is Jan 31st and then 4 weeks after that, we find out what we `re having!! I `m so ready to decorate the nursery!!!!

Week 15...Feelin good most of the time...occasional gags here and there...I feel like morning sickness keeps trying to sneak back up on me...Baby bump is pretty much the same size as last week...i `m really starting to go through the emotions...what a roller coaster ride...I haven `t felt the baby move yet, and I can `t wait...I think that `s what I need to feel better. Next appt. is Jan 31st and hopefully end of February I can say pink or blue :-)

WELL I PURCHASED THE INTELLIGENDER TEST FROM WWW.INTELLIGENDER.COM. IT ARRIVED IN LESS THAN 3 DAYS, AND I TOOK THE TEST THIS MORNING...IT SAYS THAT I `M HAVING A BOY, BUT I GUESS I `LL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE ULTRASOUND TO CONFIRM AT THE END OF FEBRUARY!!!!

WELL I HAD THE 19 WEEK SCAN YESTERDAY...BABY IS HEALTHY AND ALL IS WELL. THEY CONFIRMED THAT IT `S A GIRL!!! INTELLIGENDER WAS WROOOONNNNNGGGGGG!!!! SO EXCITED TO DECORATE IN PINK AND BROWN!

Well I went to the doc last week and I am measuring a week big. I also measured a week big at my ultrasound. They said they won `t move my due date in case we just hit a growth spurt, but will continue to monitor and if I continue to measure big, I `ll have another scan done to make sure I `m not having a 10 pound baby! lol

Thursday, 27 Mar

Well I had my 24 week appointment yesterday. Heartbeat was strong at 150. She `s been kicking me like crazy lately, which is just the best feeling ever. My next appt is at 28 weeks, and then we switch to every 2 weeks. When she told me that, it just hit me that that `s the home stretch! 2 weeks then 1 week appointments...soooo exciting!

Tuesday, May 6

Well, the doctors just called to say that my glucose screening came back high, which means they think gestational diabetes. I know nothing about this and I am super stressing! I go this Thursday the 8th for my 3 hour screening. Not too sure what to expect ???

Friday, May 23 (32 weeks)

I went to the doctors yesterday. Oh by the way my glucose 3 hour test came back normal. Aside from that, I haven't gained any weight in 4 weeks which is really good for me, so it keeps my total steady at 31 pounds. I also learned that Amani is head down and very low so as for right now, I don't have to worry about her being breech. And the best news of all, they gave me Vicodin and Flexeril for my extreme back pain. I feel like a brand new woman all over again. Finally out of bed and can move around! Usually I get off work and lay in bed. And that's where I am for the evening. So after taking the meds last night, I cleaned my house from top to bottom :-) Feels great to feel good again. Overall, the best doc appt yet!

SATURDAY, MAY 31ST

WELL I JUST FINISHED UP WITH MY BABY SHOWER AND I AM ABSOLUTELY OVERWHELMED WITH ALL THAT WE RECEIVED. UNBELIEVABLE...AT MY FIRST SHOWER I GOT ALL CLOTHES AND THIS TIME AROUND I GOT ALL OF THE NECESSITITES. I CAN HONESTLY SAY I DON'T THINK WE NEED TO SHOP FOR A SINGLE THING. I AM JUST SO AMAZED AND SO THANKFUL RIGHT NOW!!!

thanks for answering me about the "natural birth". I will probably be ripping the rails off the bed too. you still due July 16th? we are due around the same day. were you early or late with your last babies? they keep moving my date around a bit. first the 20th of july now the 15th, we will see! I can't wait!

I keep stressing about the home projects. It is part of my nesting. The hard part is that I cannot do most of them so I have to wait on hubby. We have been told by quite a few couples to do it now or it will never get done. Plus my hubby recently said that he wants the house at a stopping place (for now) when the baby comes so he can completely focus on the baby. There is always ongoing small stuff to do but we want to fix up bathrooms and organize etc. I am glad I have stressed it enough to wear off on him. I say try and do it though! You will be even more busy since you already have a child.

I did return a few things to Babies R Us that I know good and well came from Target. I got three Bumbo seats and Babies R Us took them back...no problem. Also a Medela manual breast pump that I know good and well came from Target...and Babies R Us took it back. Your absolutely right....store credit somewhere, is better than all kinds of dulpicates we will never use! :)

had a reply and alls fine...she has had internet probs and she also lost her phone so didnt get my texts.....she must have found her phone now though...anyway she has five weeks to go and says babies head is engaged so alls good good good.... she said she will hopefully be on this week sometime...so there we have it, we dont have to worry anymore xxxxx

i will deff let you know if i hear anything...i wonder why shes not been on i hoe its not bad news or anything....shes so near having him isnt she....lets just hope she HAS dropped her laptop and smashed it to bits ha ha.......i wouldnt usually say something like that but i would rather her drop the comp and not being able to access the internet than something bad happeneing to the baby...
but that doesnt explain why she hasnt replied to my text im going to text her right now...ill let you know the outcome if she replies or not ok xxxx

LOL I know hey! My hubby is sooo sick of my gas issues that he just doesnt laugh at it anymore. Yet he farts at the damn dinner table! I tell him thats nasty and he then says "you wanna talk about nasty ass music?" And its like, I can't help it dear.. do u think I like it???? lol. I just pretend that I dont do anything and hope he wont notice till I look up and see him shaking his head. LOL. Well its payback tim HUNNY! LOL LOL LOL!

Yeah 6 1/2 weeks is not that far off. Everyone says that it DRAGS on but I tstill think it is going fairly quickly. We dont have the nursey done at all so im getting pretty worried but im trying not to nag about it....yet... :) I just want everything ready and it its place.

Good Luck with your baby shower!! I had mine a few weeks ago and I got a ton of stuff!! It was a lot of fun so ENJOY! :)

Well it alright. Hes been a lot nicer so that is always a plus! :) we had a nice talk about it and I just said "all I wanted is for you to be nicer to me, its pretty simple really" I dont think he thinks hes that mean to me but he really can be and im tired of it. So he's been trying which is all I ask. And things have been going good. I just want to be like "Do you see how easy this can be?!?!" :)

Oh wow...it makes you wonder where some people get their license eh? Hopefully there was no residual pain in you from that brake slamming incident. I did manage to enjoy my weekend - my fellow dog trainers threw me a surprise shower and it was my first real baby celebratino...It was priceless!! Hope you had a good one too!
