This is my first pregnancy and it was a total surprise. I am 27 years old and my boyfriend is 27 years old. On Jan 2nd I went to work and knew something was up cause my boobs felt different. I decided to take a test, thinking I was just being paranoid but wanted peace of mind, and there it was, two lines. I was in shock, mostly scared. I was due for my period that day!! I didnt even miss it yet. I just knew for some reason. Anyway I called my boyfriend and told him, left work and so did he, and I cried. He was ok with it but it was very scary for me because at that moment my life changed in seconds.

Anyway,now, I am so happy. So happy that this "surprise" happened and I wouldnt change it for the world. I guess the idea just took some getting used to. My boyfriend and I are really looking forward to meeting him/her.

Damn... I hear u! I was dehydrated also. and i think i had it worse since i couldnt get up from the bed to walk around b/c they had to induce my labor. it really sucked to b me that night! myson sleeps good for now thanx god. lol. He only crys wen he hungry or wen he has to burp. =/

I drank it with a malta. then I wentand took a hot bath for about 40 mins. next thing u kno im in the toilet doin #2 like crazy. and I threw up. I started gettin contractions... so I was walkin in my house and doin squats. and some liquid came out. so we went to the hospital.

hey there i saw your post on the baby forum, have you tried the milk for hungrier babies? if you can survive a aouple of weeks at about 4 weeks giver her a babay spoons worth of baby rice at bed time. See if that satisfys her for longer. If not all i can suggest is what i did with eloise when that didnt work or she didnt want to feed. Was just make sure she doesnt need any more burping, change of nappy or that shes too cold or hot. Then id swaddle her and either hold her, if she didnt stop crying put her in her chair and let her go for it she would normaly scream for about 15 mins at the begining but she would fall asleep or learn im not going to pick her up. Just let her know your still in the room but with out talking to her just so she knows your there but your not paying her attention. i know it seems mean but its not and it works. i hope that helps

I had him on sep 18 @ 10:41pm. 20hrs of labor... & yes alot of pain!! But so worth it! Im in love!!!

oh wow thats fantastic. be sure to put picks up of her. doc couldnt do membrane sweep as i am not totally effaced yet, got 0.5cm to go but have been spotting since sunday so its slowly coming away. did you have a show before?

how are you coping? i am 10 days late & just come from hospital for check up. they couldnt do membrane sweep as cervix was firmly closed. arrrrh. induction sunday which i really dont want. hows it going with you??

So I drank it at 7:30 wit a 'malta' idk if u kno wats that but yea. then I made a bath wit warm/hot water. and I stood in there for about 40 mins. BUT STILL NOTHIN!! I get some contractions here and there tho. I hope things get better... I want to have the baby already!

I went today, they had me on the monitor. for like ever! Then all tey told me was that Im dehidrated. & mycervix is still closed. and for me to go bak on friday at 1pm. So they can check me again. They did a sonogram today. I saw my baby. he weight 7.11 lbs! I didnt kno he was that big! At least that was good news for me. I we dont have o get induced, kuz it hurts more wen is an induced labor, So I've heard... Well Labor Dust to u my friend. I hope somethin good happends for us tonite!

I feel ya. I just got in from my appt. She didn't even check me this time. Monday I go to the hospital to see a specialist to okay an induction because I am trying a Vbac and if it's ok'd I will be having my daughter then. It's so upsetting. I don't want another C-section and being induced makes that very likely. And another horrible thing is my shower is the 21 st so and I don't wanna go into to labor and miss that!! It's all so frustrating!.

hey, I just got bak from my app. nothin good. my cervix is still close! I felt like cryin wen my dr. told me that. my eyes got teary. she told me to take it easy. but is hard. I donthave to go to the clinic to c herany more. She sent me to the hospital so they can check me out, & c wat they deside on, if they want to induce me or not... I hope they give me some good news since my dr. didnt!
