I found out that I was indeed pregnant on Saturday, February 23. I'm 43, never married and no children. I've waited for the day when I could truly say, "There is a baby in my belly!" Although my boyfriend and I were talking about engagement, we are now talking about doctors and payment plans and all that! What a turn of events!
I am deeply in love with him, and he is so caring and kind. I couldn't ask for a better father.
Sometimes I get all hung up on the future, but when I can find my quiet still place, I know that this is right, and I feel the bond already with my little 1/4 inch meep! Today I read that the heart is the size of a poppy seed - I don't know why that makes me cry and fall more in love with this baby, but it does.

Spring is here, and I am happier than I ever thought I could be. I have a wonderful man, and a little baby still with us! Waiting for our first ultrasound ( on March 29 ) seems like an eternity. I just want to hear/see that little heart beating and verify that I am on track as far as my due date. We are starting to let more people know that we are pregnant, and I am starting to have some real signs of pregnancy - such as nausea & dizziness 24/7. I feel lucky to have all of the 'symptoms' of pregnancy. No, not lucky - blessed. I can't wait to meet this little one that has put our life upside down!

Morgandy is now 10 weeks old. I don't know how I lived my life without this joy. I am so blessed. She is such a wonderful baby, and her personality is so fun! Whatever comes our way, I know we will be okay because of her smile and her laugh...

just wanted to thank all you ladies who kindly commented on my belly pics. sorry i'm all late i've been extremely busy with the last weeks of school and jr being a handful i haven't had time to keep up and respond ot everyone's indvidual comments.

i have an eye infection and was given vigamox for it which is an antibiotic. i looked it up to see if it is safe. it says it is a category C so they don't know. i called my dr's office and spoke with the advise nurse she told me to call the opthamologist back. however they are closed. has anyone used this while pregnant is it safe? althought it is eye drops i'm still worried since it is an antibiotic

i've finally taken the time out to post pics of my HUGE belly. SO PLEASE COMMENT, they are on my last page of photos. people have noticed my stomach since i was 8 weeks. funny thing is i've gained no weight and my dr wants me to gain at least 40 since i'm 'underweight' but baby is growing perfectly fine and apparently my belly is too! lol my son was a big baby so i'm sure this one will be too considering i am now the size i was with him at 23 weeks. and he was 8lbs 2oz.

URGENT: please someone help my craving. the other day we went over the in-laws friends house for dinner. the wife made this SPECTACULAR dessert. Don't know what she called it but it was sugar bread at the bottom, then cream cheese filling with whip cream topped with slice strawberries....anyone know what its called??? i've been looking online for the recipe but can't find it. GRRRRRRRR

UGH it really PISSES me off better yet DISGUSTS me to see people on this earth who do such heartless things to innocent ones...it hurts my heart as a mother to see something like this soo tragic happen just right down the street! wondering if anyone could help me. i've been having these reallly really bad neck pains and headaches for almost a week now. it never goes away and its driving me nuts. also i don't know if it has anything to do with it but for some reason i've been vomitting to which is weird since i am now 13 wks and hadn't had m/s just nauseousness up until this week when the aches started. anyone have a clue what thismight be? at first i thought maybe i had slept wrong or something and the neck pain was a crick which was causing my headaches. but its been like a week and i've tried everything from ice and hot packs to hubby massaging it. hubby has been trying to convince me to go in because i'm literally in pain all day. any input is greatly appreciated. thanks ladies
