I found out that I was indeed pregnant on Saturday, February 23. I'm 43, never married and no children. I've waited for the day when I could truly say, "There is a baby in my belly!" Although my boyfriend and I were talking about engagement, we are now talking about doctors and payment plans and all that! What a turn of events!
I am deeply in love with him, and he is so caring and kind. I couldn't ask for a better father.
Sometimes I get all hung up on the future, but when I can find my quiet still place, I know that this is right, and I feel the bond already with my little 1/4 inch meep! Today I read that the heart is the size of a poppy seed - I don't know why that makes me cry and fall more in love with this baby, but it does.

Spring is here, and I am happier than I ever thought I could be. I have a wonderful man, and a little baby still with us! Waiting for our first ultrasound ( on March 29 ) seems like an eternity. I just want to hear/see that little heart beating and verify that I am on track as far as my due date. We are starting to let more people know that we are pregnant, and I am starting to have some real signs of pregnancy - such as nausea & dizziness 24/7. I feel lucky to have all of the 'symptoms' of pregnancy. No, not lucky - blessed. I can't wait to meet this little one that has put our life upside down!

The 22 of October. We decided because I already delivered by c-section with my daughter. So since its a repeat we go in at 39 weeks which falls on hubby's b-day

Went to our 26 check up yesterday. Baby is doing great, he is so active he won't stop wiggling in there. I love feeling him! Anways we are scheduled to give birth by c-section on hubby's birthday. He is so excited to share his day with his son.

dont worry my last fundal height was measuring 30 cm and i was only 24 weeks. Its not accurate and it depends if u are a little more chubbier or if bubs laying abit different.

WELL WHEN HE SAID C-SECTION...HE HUSBAND SAID WHY... HE SAID " WELL DO YOU WANT THE BABY TO GET STUCK IN HER VAGINA?" I TRIED TO DEIT SINCE HE SAID THAT I WAS TO HAVE C-SECTION IF THE BABY IS MORE THEN 8 1/2 LBS BUT I FIGUR SHE GONNA GAIN THE WEIGHT REGARDLESS. HE MAKES IT SEEM LIKE I CANT DO IT

Oh how weird and lame. I have never been to Boston but everyone from there I have met (including an ex) are kinda jerky. Do you mean you got looks or comments from strangers??
Well, its good you are back in Cali then. 
The cervix thing- not hiccups for me but sharp pain- my midwife told me is the baby stretching his hands/arms up and touching and pushing. It makes me jump when I feel it. Yow.
My baby is quite the interacter- he "plays" with my kitty. She sits at my side and purrs, puts her paw where his feet are and meows and he gives her a nudge back. So cute.
Then, when I say his name and tap where his hand is, he will give me a tap back.
I am psyched to finally be in the 3rd trimester- baby shower will be 3rd week of August- wheeee.

I was worried about flying too. We might take a trip to NY, but from FL I DEFINITELY DONT WANT TO DRIVE! I dont know what to do, might just have my honey go all alone, its just going to be a quick trip but I honestly dont feel up to it...

Hi Lady! Been kinda busy with projects and we started our Hypnobirth class last night which is fun for us to do together. Awww- Crazy Legs sounds cute!
Our baby is quite the hiccuping guy. He jumps too if someone talks loudly right by him or my cat jumps up to my belly. Its neat to interact with him.

thanks for your advice..i'm hoping since he will be about 16 months when the new baby gets here it won't be so hard for him to adjust..i think he's gonna be very curious and a little jealous..he's used to having all the attention and i know how much of that a newborn will take..i guess i mainly worry about being able to balance the two of them..lots of people have done it before me though, right?..thats what i keep telling myself lol!

To each their own I reckon. I thought I would be grossed out but I'm not but it does feel weird having something moving inside you. I just find it really reassuring to know she is ok when she kicks me mainly.

I dont get the throbbing just pressure in the exact same place. Throbbing when she kicks only. How are you going with the feelings of kicking? Getting used to it and not so yuk now?

I think the most beautiful babies are the biracial babies. My oldest daughter is half cuban and I'm irish. Now just by looking at alot of black mens beautiful deep soulful eyes, I see those eyes in my daughter and her father. Plus knowing that Cuba has alot of black cubans I know my daughter must have some black in there somewhere. My daughter is beautiful and I'm so very glad I and her father mixxed our genetics to what i feel is perfections. Go look at my page, she is my oldest of my kids and I call her Jellybean on here. She is beautiful and your baby will be too!
I think that all babies are cute but there is something exotic about mixing strong features with white people.
