Yea luckily I haven't gotten any stretch marks from pregnancy. I've been applying various creams -shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil. Apply it twice a day and maybe it'll help any new ones from appearing...There's this something called bio oil too that I read about on the forum that helps reduce stretch marks.. I don't get it here but lots of women have said it worked for them...
I hope u don't get too many marks..I too was paranoid and more scared for the stretch marks than the actual labor! Take care...

hi, thanks for the comment. i haven't tested in awhile because i thought i just got my AF, but then it turned out to only be 3 days long and it showed up when i was 5 weeks late...so i'm just confused and we haven't been able to apply for the medical insurance yet cuz we're moving at the end of the month and haven't had time ( didn't think it was as pressing a few days ago cuz of AF, but with it being so short, now i'm wondering if i should try to apply now anyways..) i'm just frustrated with my body...

I am doing good, thank you! My appointment went great! We finally got to hear our baby's little heart. :) 154 beats per minute. Aww. We have our ultrasound on April 7th to hopefully find out the gender!

Hi, went to the midwife, all good heard the heartbeat was 160bpm. I am seeing her again in 2 weeks time for the down's blood test as it was too soon, but def should be every 4 weeks hun

i live in warrington the grot of all england and iv had my booking in appointment 8 weeks
12 week scan
16 week check up
and im just waiting for my 20 week scan now which is on 28th march thats what you should be heading towards i think. u dnt see the midwife everytime tho
u do at bookin in app n then u dnt see her at the scan sum1 else does it n says everything looks fine then u go to book ur 16 week app. which is with ur consultant.
20 week scan again i guess thats with the sonograph person
and then i dunno after that i presume 4 weeks after that u go to see ur midwife who tells u what the dig is!
its all very confusing for a 1st timer lol

noooo they didnt tell me I am having a girl, I have a boy already and pregnancy was smooth sailing and nothing like this - so perhaps it could be a girl! I really want one... lol.

I will try that glass of milk before bed.

hi there girly, I am having my scan on Valentines day how romantic lol! I have also bought a doppler on ebay, hoping to get it today! cant wait to hear the baby's heartbeat - I think all the systems are all different now, they seem more laid back this time round even though we only had our little man a couple of years ago. I am feeling all sorts of emotions mainly low ones for some reason but I think the doppler will put me out of misery.
Do you get back sickness? mine seems a lot worse before bed - haha - heartburn is mad too... ooo different symptoms perhaps I am having a girl this time round - I really hope so!

i am trying to think positive but its hard i just want to know everything is ok. i don't go for another week to hear the heart beat. i guess i will have to wait lol!!! i hope all is going good for you!!!

Hi! I havent put on any weight, I actually lost a little but my tummy is big because I gave birth to my daughter a few months ago so my uterus never shrank back to its normal size so I popped out very quickly this time.

hi. all is good. feel pretty rough though. heatburn, feeling sick, really tired and i never want food but i'm always starving. i cant even do the sainsburys shop as everything makes me want to hurl!!!!! apart from that i think everythings in working order. i have my scan on the 19th feb. i am so excited cannot wait!!! let me know how you get on with your scan. have you heard the heartbeat yet through a doppler? take care xxx

Hi! My doctor was able to check everything, they found and saw the heartbeat and were able to get good measurements of our little one. The only thing they couldn't do with the u/s machine is turn the power on high enough to actually hear the heartbeat, because they had to keep the machine power as low as possible. Hi there, Congrats on ur pregnancy. its so exciting hey. I'm the same as you with my breasts. They arnt sore any more. but still large which is great for me, cause i have small ones. hehehe. I'm going really well. starting to get a little belly which is exciting. Feeling a bit ill every now and then when its time to eat. but other then that i'm going great. How are you going?
