My name is Amanda and I am pregnant with my first!! My hubby Sean and I are havign a little boy and we are naming him Dominic!! I found out I was pregnant in July and we had been trying for about 5 months. I feel so blessed and I love being pregnant...I have had every symptom from morning sickness, to heart burns, to leg cramps...but I love every minute of it! We are expecting our son on April 1, 2008!!

i eat mayo, almost 2-3 times a week! and have sicne i became pregnant. turkey sandwiches were the only thing i could keep down for a long time!

im not sure what you were told about mayo..but i eat deli sandwiches all the time, and my doctor told me that its fine and in RARE cases, listera can happen, but he told me to go ahead and eat deli sandwhiches and not to worry and I eat them with mayo on them all the time.:) hope this helps

just read your comment on back pain. My tailbone kills me at the end of the day. I find that a warm bath just before bed helps to relieve the pain a ton. Even better, a warm baby and then a nice back rub from hubby while you drift off to sleep.

the super long pillow, like a body pillow has been working for me. i just put it between my legs while im sleeping and it really helps. give it a try :)

Hi congrats! I love the name Dominic very cute. My ultrasound tech said he was 100% that it was a boy. I am just worrying for no reason. I want to set up the room so I guess I am just going to have to take that chance. I just can't imagine having to buy all new stuff. I am sure we are fine. Good luck to you!

I am not happy that you are sick at all, but I am glad that I am not alone. I did not think that I would be feeling like this again. It isn't quite as intense as 1st trimester, but I definitely don't feel 'good'

I had big hips and a bubble butt before pregnancy, so there's not much of a change for me. I look the same, except for the basketball belly I'm sporting.

You puppy is so cute! Do you think its going to be jealous when the baby is born? Thats my biggest fear. I have a chihuahua, shes pretty much our baby right now. I'm hoping shes ok when the baby comes. And advise?

Hi, my little girl is so low I have a problem walking when i get up from sitting down. I have to go to the bathroom an awful lot, so im guessing she is on my bladder. but who knows. the pressure for me is the worst! on a brighter note congrats on your pregnancy!!!

Yea I noticed for like the last week or so she is always on the left of my stomach & she never really seems to move to the other side. It feels so weird.

hi, yeah my baby is pretty low, i see all these pregnant women and it looks like they are carrying their babies in their rib cages! mine is very very low, andi have a gap from my chest to my belly :) but my mom held really low with all her pregnancies.

hi, well my first one i ended up getting an epidural cause being my first i thought i would die, crazy me. but with my second i said no i will have him natural and it really was not that bad. i got to the hospital at 7cm and i got there at 11 and had him by 1. And i LOVED the experience. i really felt so special that i regret not having a natural one for my first, the pain well its pain but at the same time u get to feel ur baby move aroung till the end and you are not all drugged when they hand him/her to you and ur emotions arent all frozen. so i would advice natural if u are trying for the whole experience you will love it and the pain well it does go away:) hope this helps

I have not had any cravings either. I am gaining weight (normally) but I don't feel like I am eating that much differently. I don't really feel hungry any more than before I was pregnant. I think it is different for everyone.

Make sure you don't eat because my doc said I could and I failed the first one. Then I had to take a 3 hour test NOT FUN. I was just over the number and if I had fasting I know I would have passed. You should not have to take the day off. It is a short test but if you want the day off -take it! The drink taste like a sunkist orange soda.

The test takes an hour. You need to go in early because your not supposed to eat anything from midnight. I was tired afterwards. Good luck with everything!!

Heartburn has been getting me pretty bad the past few days too. I had a hard time falling asleep last night because of it. I had never had heartburn before until I was pregnant. I hate it!

I'm feeling acid reflux very often and have had to spend several nights sleeping sitting up b/c it will come back up into my mouth. It's totally miserable. It has been my worst symptom thus far!
