When did you find out? A few days before Mother's Day

Were did you find out? We were living with my sister at the time and after taking what seemed like a ton of home pregnancy tests and getting a lot of negatives (I took them like 5-6 days before my missed period because I was so impatient!) I waited a day or two and took another one... locked myself in the bathroom and stared at the test lying on the counter and after a few minutes a faint positive showed up, so I ran to the store and spent what was left in my wallet on more tests that all came back faintly positive! The next morning I took yet another one with a darker positive line- Wahoo!

How far along were you? 5 weeks- confirmed through a blood test

What was your reaction? I was shaking uncontrollably with excitement!

Who was the first person you told? Well, technically my brother in law- he was the only one home and when the home pregnancy test came back slightly positive so I yelled for him to come in the bathroom and look at it in the light- he said that he only saw one line, but I swear there was two! After that I called my sister and told her and then I waited for Nick to get home from work (it was the longest few hours of my life!!) and I told him

How did you tell the father? I waited until he was home from work and then I asked him how much he loved me (he knew I was up to something) and then I whipped 3 (haha) home pregnancy tests out of my pocket and showed him

What was his reaction? I think because the lines were so faint on the tests that he wasn't sure I was definitely pregnant but he was excited/shocked

When is your due date? January 13, 2009

Did you have any morning sickness? Yes- it was the worse in the morning and at night! Still do some mornings!

What are your fears? Delivering too early, labor itself, having to have a C-Section for whatever reason, becoming a mother and being good at it

What are you most happy about? Being able to hold my daughter and having my own family

Did you want a boy or girl? Girl

What did the father want boy or girl? He said it didn't matter but I know he secretly wanted a boy

Do you know what your having? A girl!

Do you have a names picked out? Morgan

How much weight have you gained? Close to ten pounds so far

Have you felt the baby move? Yes! More frequently now!

When you have the baby

Are you keeping the baby? Of course!

Do you plan on a natural or medicated birth? Medicated

Are you scared about labor? Yes! But I know that there's no way I can avoid it so in the meantime, I'm trying not to stress out over it

What do you think will be the worst part of labor? The pain and not knowing what to expect because it's my first time being pregnant!

Have you taken any classes? Not yet- we are in November though

Who will be in the delivery room? Just me and Nick... and the doctor/nurses of course

Are you having the birth videotaped? Nope!

Do you think you will cry when you see the baby for the first time? Yes

What do you think the fathers reaction to the baby will be? I know he will cry too

How do you think family and friends will feel? Excited but I'm a little worried that in the beginning we won't have "room to breathe"... if you know what I mean. Sometimes they can be a little too much... I'd like to enjoy my daughter with Nick before we get swamped with visitors in the hospital
